This is the 3rd time i’ve professional gotten my hair cut in my life. William has cut my hair 2 out of 3 of those times & im absolutely inlove. I came in with very brittle dry damaged hair, he gave me a treatment, set me under the dryer, cut & styled my hair. this is the best my hair has looked and felt in over 10 years. We got my MIL a gift certificate to get her hair done because she LOVES Fantastic Sam's. Well, on that particular day, it was anything but Fantastic. My MIL babysits our daughter, so she doesn't have a lot of free time for herself. She walked in Thursday (2/24/22) to get her hair done. As soon as she walked in, one of the hairdressers immediately says, "that figures." Apparently they were short staffed, and we're very busy. Another hd, very politely, asked her if she had an appointment. My MIL was confused as she has never had to have an appointment at a FS. She explained to her that she could get her in later that day or the next, but my MIL wasn't able to do it any other time than then. The whole time this very nice lady is dealing with her, the other HD in the back is still b******g about being short staffed and not being able to take anyone else. My MIL finally told them not to worry about it, and that she would go somewhere else. My MIL is very patient, and it takes a lot to get her angry to the point she was at that day when she walked out. She actually gave us the gift certificate back. Needless to say, you lost a long time customer. Unacceptable.

They are decent for adult haircuts and kids. The price is right, but I don't love the wait. Typically they have open chairs but only like 3 people who are taking walk ins. Usually at least 1 or 2 of them have color appointments. Since they don't take appointments but for color, that leaves only 1 person to help the rest of us which, when busier or on weekends, is just ridiculous. But otherwise they are great.

I just have to give a big Shout-Out to Twila. I had the same person cut my hair for 15 years, and he moved away so I had to find a new stylist. I tried a couple places last year and was so dissatisfied... So one day I was grocery shopping and saw Fantastic Sam's, so I ran in and asked if anyone could do a nice fade and cut my hair. Well Twila said I can do that for sure, and she did and for the past 3 cuts I've had it done by her and wanted to let others know she is patient(I'm difficult and picky)and she does such a great job. I had a great experience with getting my hair colored here! Twila did my hair this time around, and she did such an amazing job with my blonde coloring and styling! She was so very sweet while spending the time to do my crazy hair, which was a hot mess when I first walked in the door. I will definitely ask for Twila again! Over all this place was very clean, and had a very fun bubbly atmosphere. Like everyone was super happy to be working that day, despite the nasty weather. The new gentleman William, who works here, has an absolutely amazing personality! Very fun and energetic, and very sweet. Even though he didn’t do my hair, he made the time pass for me getting my hair colored with his sunny personality. And while the place was getting busy, he offered to do extra work. Which I thought, showed awesome team player! I had a great experience here at this Fantastic Sam’s at Flowers, and will definitely be back! I recommend to anyone! Services: Hair coloring, Hairstyling

Please go see Crystal Barefoot when you come here she is absolutely amazing.. here’s my story. I went to the Fantastic Sams in Fayetteville looking for a bob cut. I showed the lady a picture that I wanted and she assorted me she can cut my hair just like that. Well at the end of my cut, it looked nothing like the picture it was so much worse. My hair was so uneven and I was so disappointed. I have heard of a lady that works at other Fantastic Sams in Clayton that does an amazing job through friends, so I called up there and made an appointment with her. When I got there I explained to her what happened. Crystal apologize that this happened to me and insured me she can fix it. Well I will say I’m so happy with my hair.. Crystal did such an amazing job on my hair. Crystal is so kind and helpful.. I would recommend anyone to go see her!!

I love this Fantastic Sams!!! They do take walk ins but they also do appointments, which I love!! Ms Lilly got the tips of her hair dyed at Fantastic Sams here at Flowers Crossroads in Clayton! The tips were dyed blue and her hair stylus, Ms. Twila suggested that we do her bangs as a "peacock" colors (Blue, Purple and Green). Ms. Twila did a fabulous job and Ms. Lilly was soooo happy! I think she looks absolutely beautiful!!
