Front desk receptionist was very rude. We called in to schedule a check-in and to our surprise we were told “ the doctor doesn’t want to see your pet”. She told us that we left unsatisfied on our last visit which is very untrue. There was no explanation whatsoever. So disrespectful, quality customer service is non-existent.

We've been taking our pet here for years and appreciate the doctor and his staff. He is very kind on every visit. Spoke with us on the phone when we needed him and didn't have to come in. Their prices are very reasonable compared to others in the area. It's a no frills kind of establishment and that's just fine! 🐕

No professionalism, poor quality, poor value and definitely not reliable. This is by far the worst place you could possibly take your pet. I have gone multiple times because it is the closest to my house and each time it’s a disappointment. To start off, the front desk receptionist is rude, unprofessional and acts as if you are wasting her time. Definitely not the environment you want to be around! I went from being stressed and worried about my pet to being stressed, worried, angry and frustrated. Made an appointment same day because my dog had a lump by his ear, they couldn’t help me out because they weren’t prepared? Yet when I went to make the appointment they were well aware of everything. What a waste of time. Do not bring your pet here, I made the mistake of going to this place because it was closest to me. UPDATE: We were already in an upsetting situations and your front desk receptionist was awful. No one had to be rude but my husband definitely didn’t initiate it, her attitude was rude from the beginning. You defending her and still having her there constantly with an attitude is your problem, I gave y’all another chance because it was close by (as I kept saying the reason as to why I would go). Like I said, it was a mistake going since it was closer to me. He ended up going to the emergency room and Guess what? They just cleaned the wound. They said since it popped all we had to do is keep it clean at home. Guess y’all weren’t even qualified for that. It was an amazing and such affordable experience. Not like the expensive place y’all recommended. They had total professionalism, not that i think you would understand since your location lacks it but it’s called Urgent Vet in Chapel Hill. Your feedback just confirmed why I won’t ever go to Academy vet or recommend anyone there. In fact, I’ll just speak on the experiences I’ve had.

My two pups are well taken care of here! Dr. Said and his assistant Jeremiah are knowledgeable and experienced. This place is also slightly cheaper than past veterinarians I’ve been too.

It has been 10 years since I have been bringing my dog to this clinic, great staff and the vet is super friendly and professional. In my opinion this clinic has the best prices in the triangle area. I bring all of my 3 dogs here. Staff/ front desk are very professional, friendly, and helpful. I wouldn’t leave this vet at all. Even in times when my dogs needed medication the prices were also reasonable. I highly recommend this Vet.

They take great care of my cat who is pretty finicky and has a few quirks that come with an adult rescue. Dr. Said always answers my questions and puts concerns at ease and treats my cat as if he were comforting his own. The vet techs are always warm and welcoming and I’ve never been left waiting more than 5 minutes in the waiting room or the exam room even when I arrive super early for my appointment. Prices are really fair and I’m always confident that I won’t have a case of sticker shock when wrapping up the appointment.
