Konrad Automotive is one of the only places I trust in Durham since moving back to work on my car. We ladies know how difficult it can be to get honest and fair pricing on cars from many mechanics without a run around. I do feel that Karl and his staff are dedicated to getting the job done and at a reasonable and fair price. I recommend them to others.

I am extremely glad that I stumbled upon Konrad Automotive after moving to Durham, NC 2 years ago. Konrad Automotive offers top notch service at a reasonable price. They are my go-to repair shop for all things automotive. I highly recommend this shop to all of my friends. Most recently, I had my timing belt and water pump assembly, radiator, and valve cover gaskets replaced. This was an immense undertaking but Ryan and his team were able to get me in and back out on the road quickly. In my experience, Konrad Automotive uses OEM / OEM grade parts at a reasonable price and does not put cheap/easy worn-out replacements into your vehicle. Ran over a nail, called up Konrad without an appointment this morning and they told me to bring my car on in. Within ten minutes of handing my keys over my tire was already repaired and I wasnt charged a dime. I'll be bringing my car in for all repairs, inspections, and maintenance needs. I am so thankful I found Konrad Automotive. I have been here a few times now and have dealt mostly with Ryan. He is always very professional, honest and helpful. Their prices a very fair, they do a great job and are really thorough with their work! Usually I really dislike dealing with any car shops (because of previous poor experiences) but all my experiences with Konrad have been top notch. You can tell they're good people, care about their business and customers. Our experience was great. We had a list of things for them to check on our car and they took care of all if it without taking advantage of us not really knowing anything about cars. I highly recommend that women go here to avoid the scammy mechanics that talk down to you and try to upcharge without reason. (Literally they could have said we needed all new brakes because it was one of the things I asked they check, but they said that they were absolutely fine)

I sent my car to them because the dealership that I got my car from said that if anything went wrong with the car to send it to Konrads. 08/24 had my car towed to them because it was driving rough like it wanted to cut off. So I thought the car was fixed got it back the next day and the following morning driving home with my son it cut off completely while I was driving. Right in the highway in a blindspot. So the police had to sit there to keep cars from hitting my car.. Again I have the car towed back to Konrads and they stated now that they pretty much replaced the starter and that didn't work and I need to take my car to a dealership. Money was spent for towing and the first repair which and to have to spend more money for another towing and then nothing can be done... *UPDATE * So the owner stated he would work on my car. I appreciated that. My car is running. But two days later the service engine light pops right back on and it is driving rough just as before. And I did not get my money back for the last towing when my car shut off...

This is a great shop. I have used them several times now and they get the job done with good customer service. I was very impressed with my most recent visit. I was not sure if I had a flat or leaking tire since my dashboard was warning me of low tire pressure. I brought my car in and they checked it out very quickly and told me what I needed to do in the future to reset the gauge. No charge. And on a completely different note, the shop has a very docile and sweet dog named Pepper. She is extremely sweet. My 11 month old was able to play with her while we waited for 15 minutes. Definitely makes this shop memorable/unique.

I recently moved to Durham and I needed to find someone to service my car. After looking online, I found Konrad Auto and made an appointment. They inspected my car and gave me a timely and accurate assessment of the problem and provided me with the costs of repairs. Since I was waiting for the car they quickly replace my brake pads and rotors and I was on my way in just over an hour. Anthony was very friendly and professional and provided great service. Great experience, I plan to use Konrad Auto for all my future car repairs.
