$800 to have temperature sensor connector replaced. Highly disappointed in the service department. Took my 07 Jeep in to fix the crazy temperature readings I was getting. I was told the diagnostic fee was $200, no problem, I knew I was in for at least that much. I get a call after the diagnostic part to confirm it was the connector in the wiring harness and the labor cost would be $765. Very concerned, I asked why the labor was so high. They said that the connector was buried, and the front end needed to come off to get to it and it was very labor intensive. If it were going to take them a few hours, then it would take me more, so I agreed to the cost because there was so much labor involved. After the repair, I saw that the connector was not buried at all, it was the connector to the sensor itself and the labor wouldn't have taken more than 45 minutes as I changed the sensor once already in less than 30 minutes. They made it sounds like that was one big job, but an Oil Change is more labor that this. I went back the next day to verify the work and to have them justify the cost of labor, they stood by their 3.5 hours @ $200 per man hour for this work. Now I agreed to the cost based on the lie the connector that needed to be replaced was very labor intensive to just get to the part. I questioned the labor cost a few times but was assured that this was a hard place to get to and I trusted them (big mistake). SO - At the time of the diagnostic call, I could have said NO, do not repair and pay them the $200 and I'm out (knowing what needed to be repaired). All the diagnostics was done, and root cause identified at this point. The cost went from $200 to $800. So, $600 to repair what took them less than an hour. ($40 in parts). Do not go to this company for repairs, they will lie to you so they can make the repair and charge you an insane fee. In hindsight, I should have gone there to have them show me what needed to be replaced and my review would have been completely different. Easily $500 mistake on my part, just don't make the same mistake as I have. STAY AWAY from Capital Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Indian Trail.

Bought a 2019 Ram 1500. Truck had about 26k miles on it and looked like new inside and out. I was pleased with the price and overall sales process went quick and smooth. Zach worked with me on the purchase and is a good guy to work with. Finance with Wayne was a breeze as well.

The best car buying experience I’ve ever had. Why? 1. Low pressure highly transparent sales person (Cameron) 2. Inventory quality was top notch 3. Very competitive pricing Wife found a Wrangler she loved which was a tough task in this market. Found out it had been sold. Cameron offered another option; they literally customized (wheels, tires and rails) a Jeep for us same day so she could have what she wanted. These guys know how to get it done. My sales guy even canceled a family event to see us through the process. Kudos to this team for providing such a high quality, customer-focused experience!

I will never be bringing my truck back for maintenance again. I went in for an oil change and everything went fine. Got back to the house and woke up to a huge oil stain in the driveway. Turns out they didn't even screw in the bolt for my oil pan all the way. My truck says it's low on oil now

EDIT: Capital CDJR contacted me within a week of this review and arranged to replace the headlight that was damaged during a service visit. All services have now been performed to my satisfaction and the headlight assembly replaced. Due to the dealership making amends for the original mistake of the technician performing the work, I have upgraded this rating from a 2⭐ review to a 4⭐ review. Thank you Jim and Management at Capital CDJR. ---------- ORIGINAL POST: Came to Capital to get my CCV filter changed on my 2016 RAM 2500 Cummins on October 18th, 2021 and left feeling like I'd gotten five star service, only to be disappointed later. After I'm gone, I notice that my driver side headlight assembly is no longer positioned evenly with the passenger and angled downward. I pop the hood and discover the plastic mounting clip on top of the drivers headlight assembly is BROKEN!! The clip was NOT broken when I brought it in for service. I am meticulous about my truck and this would have been noticeable, as I do my usual walk-arounds about once a week. It seems apparently, the technician performing the work put their weight on top of the headlight assembly while changing the crankcase ventilation filter. Look at any video and you'll see that changing one of these requires a long reach to the back of the engine compartment to access the rear bolts and wire clips. There's NO scratches, dents or evidence of impact to the lens or the housing. Just someone who was too lazy to be careful and not lay on plastics while working on a customer's truck! So, nearly $800 later in regular service fees, I'm driving home with a broken headlight, unbeknownst to me! A couple weeks later, RAM corporate emailed me asking for a follow-up review regarding the service visit at Capital, so I mentioned the damage. I requested someone contact me from the dealer and to this day NO ONE ever did. If you damage someone's vehicle during a service visit, do the RIGHT THING, Capital... Do the right thing. To replace it, the truck will have mismatched headlights which will cost me out of my own pocket to buy the other one (just so they match due to road wear, etc). How frustrating! So you get 2 ⭐'s rather than 1 ⭐ Capital, because you shuttled me to work and picked me up. The service advisor was super nice and the shuttle staff gave a great experience, however the automotive TECHNICIAN who did the labor killed your rating. Make my headlight assembly right Capital, and I'll do your rating a solid as well!

We recently purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership on Saturday. Let me start my saying Randy has an amazing personality and good customer service. The 2 vehicles that we got were FILTHY. The only thing they did to them was clearly vacuumed. Old good stains in the doors and steering wheel and roof top of car. The cars that are on the lot were clearly not ready to be driven off once purchased. Mirrors were cracked etc. when calling to speak to a manager, they fail to follow up and call back as promised. I’ve purchased vehicles before and this was by far the worst experience. Please follow of with your customers and don’t make us have to keep contacting you for more information. Buying a vehicle should be exciting and stress free. This has not been. If I could return my car I would.

Overall worst buying experience ever, if I could go back I would have never bought the vehicle due to all the red flags. I was communicating about a vehicle and when I arrived they stated the vehicle had been in a wreck after driving 40 minutes there. Then I was interested in a different vehicle (what I ended up purchasing) and we agreed on a price and he comes back and says that was for the wrong vehicle its actually more. One of the inside mirrors are broken (waiting to be replaced) and also was not aware the vehicle does not come with auto start from outside of the vehicle. Was promised we could add it I just had to pay a little extra and dropped my vehicle off for 4 days and was told I could pick it up just to get it back and it not work and have not heard anything back since. Overall Randy is a great salesman but the company does not check there vehicles and do not clean their vehicles. I even brought my spouse and she purchased a vehicle and we traded in both our old cars as well. I do not recommend.

I was sold an used lemon and bad work quality. I bought an used 2015 dodge charger from this dealer. Less than 2 months of buying it there was knocking coming from the engine so the engine needed to be replaced which took a month. There are scratches in the engine bay and broken clips all over. In addition 3 days after picking up the car now the abs and stability control lights come on and when they come on cruise control doesn't work.
