I live 80 miles away. Called and spoke with Steven about purchasing zero turn 54 inch mower with My Ride. He gave a price with zero interest that was almost "too good to be true" AND IT WAS! I ask him 3 times is he sure of price and he replies, YES. I drive up there with trailer to pick it up and they try to give me lesser mower. They admit to their mistake but tell me "Sorry Charlie "the mower you wanted is considerbly more and we are not going to honor what you were told!! No offer to make it right at all. Buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are a licensed STIHL distributor and maintenance dealer, but they repair and service all sorts of small engine power equipment. They deal with a lot of lawn mowers for professional landscapers, especially Toro. The company I work for has been taking our blowers and saws there for almost two decades.

Don’t plan to ever go back! Bought 11,000.00 mower toward end of season. I get it home I used it twice and called them and complained about it being hard to start and then they just gave me the run around and now it want even crank land I took it to a place and battery is showing that it doesn’t have enough cranking amps and they say nothing they can do about it. Really makes me mad after I spent that much money!

What a relief to find a small business that services what they sell! I am DONE with big box stores. I bought a Gravely ZTR and two Toro push mowers at Clay's. I am well satisfied with their product line, also their product knowledge kept me from "overbuying" a bigger ZTR than I needed for my situation. That saved me $2,000. They were also able to repair an older riding mower I had, and got it done FAST. Delivery was on time twice. It's nice to know that I never have to worry again about what to do when my mowers need service!!

Never really stock the parts you need for my honda mower. (raleigh store) they offer to transfer from the store in fuquay varina but say it may take 2-3 days. Much more simple to order parts online and have them the next day or two.

Service was terrible this morning. They guy at the front desk wearing glasses was no help at all. He didn’t want to look up model or serial numbers for my dad and I. He insisted we go and take pictures of our lawnmower when my dad knew exactly what we needed. My dad called the office before we got there explaining he needed a hose for the lawnmower. We were told the had a few left to come up here and see if matches our old hose. Of course when we got there we dealt with guy I mentioned earlier with glasses and he was completely rude. He asked how many mowers we had. Once we told him one, we got the impression that since we’re not a commercial business we’re not worth their time. They completely insulted our intelligence and integrity. We felt completely discriminated against by race and by us not being a business of their standard. I really hope the news get involved. The BBB should get involved. As a minority, we face so much discrimination in the world as is. Why should we have to face it in store the sells lawn equipment? So much for a Good Friday.

My wife bought me a Stihl chainsaw for Christmas (best gift one can receive) and told me the guys at Clay’s insisted I bring it in before first use. I am so, so glad I did because my saw has several features that were new to me. Their response when I took my saw in was far above my expectations. They added fuel and bar oil without hesitation in order to show me how to properly start my new 251C, then took maybe 20 minutes to educate me on all the features. I took my mower blades in on the same visit and when I picked them up they were razor sharp and Clay’s staff was as welcoming as always. It’s a retail store, so if you’re looking for wholesale prices, this isn’t the store for you. If you’re looking for high quality products and services with excellent customer service, consider Clay’s for your go-to.
