If I could give this company zero stars I would. I scheduled two separate moves with this company. One for a storage to storage move and one for an apartment to apartment move. I scheduled both moves at least 2-3 months ahead of time. The scheduling process was fine, there were some discrepancies with fees but that was quickly resolved. The storage to storage move was scheduled for June 3rd. I got a call the day before to confirm all the details. I was told the movers should be dispatched between 8-9am, maybe a little bit after 9. 9:30 rolls around, so I decide to call to see if there was an eta. I spoke with Nick and he checked on the dispatcher and then informed me that the movers who were scheduled to my move were on a job until 4am the night before and were still asleep. He said he wanted to let them sleep in a little more so they could properly do the job. I said okay and gave them another hour. 10:30 rolls around and I call back. Nick informs me that he has not gotten ahold of the movers and that he couldn’t do anything about it. At this point, I was beyond frustrated. Nick was very rude and just told me I could cancel and get my deposit back. I had to have my husband call them back, because I was too frustrated to speak with Nick again, to cancel the move as well as the move scheduled for later in the month. This is a very unprofessional and rude company. I would not recommend them one bit.

Table was left flipped over after installation. Bags and items stack on top of each other instead laying items systematically. Crew was polite but process and overall satisfaction was not there.

I hired this company to unload a 26' U-haul. They worked very hard and quick. They were careful with my belongings. They were polite and respectful. Would definitely recommend this company!

Will, Chris, and Neil were timely, professional, and and worked very hard. They completed the move efficiently and had great attitudes throughout the entire process. Family movers express was a bit cheaper than most of the moving companies we looked in to, but did not sacrifice any quality for cost. Would definatly recommend them to anyone looking to move!

We had the best crew, Chris-Will and Ashley. They stayed pleasant the whole time and it was in the 90’s. They were very professional and knowledgeable. They sure knew how to pack a truck. I would highly recommend This company. Chris, Will and Ashley deserve raises or at the least high praise. Thank you Nick for setting up our move and sending us the (DREAM) team.

Please, please save yourself the hassle and do not waste your time or money hiring this company. We've moved four times in the last 10 years. We have never, ever had such a horrendous experience. Where to begin? The initial person that we spoke with, Nick, provided a quote over the phone. We gave specifics for our home, a 4 bedroom home, 2400 sq/ft full pack with garage and attic. I was told that we would need 3 men and it would cost $196 an hour in addition to the base fee and the cost of packing materials. The guys were supposed to arrive at 8am on a Friday...they showed up at 11:30am with 5 guys rather than the 3 that I was told would be sufficient for the square footage of our home. They showed me the contract and I noted that it showed $350/hour?? I questioned the amount and there was back and forth between the supervisor and Nick, the franchise owner. They adjusted the price. They stopped packing at 11:30pm and did not finish packing our home and moving our things to their new location. They told us they would come the next day at 4pm after their morning job to finish the work. They showed up at 8:45 pm that evening to finish packing the boxes, our attic and garage. Our storage facility closes at 10pm. I brought the closing time to the attention of the supervisor more than once because I was concerned that the team would not finish loading the truck in time. They would need to leave our home by 9:45 to make it to the storage unit by 10pm. They didn't make it... The guys continued to run back into the house to grab things they'd forgotten and were late to the unit. By the end of Saturday (this was all supposed to be finished on Friday) they'd only loaded a few boxes and the attic and garage had still not been packed. They attempted to charge us for keeping our belongings overnight (because they missed the 10pm closing time on the storage unit). We were pretty upset by this point. They waived the cost. My husband meet the guys a third time on Sunday to finish unloading our things. Once they were done, he returned to our house to see what they'd left behind. We were shocked. They'd taken down our TVs but left the brackets, they'd left pieces of furniture, they left a few random boxes. The new owners didn't need our window treatments so we asked that they take them down. The guys took down the curtain rods but not the brackets holding the rods against the wall. They broke glass (we still don't know what item(s)) and my husband stepped on a shard of it and cut his foot. There were pieces of glass in multiple rooms and in our driveway. There were screws all over the floors. We have no idea what they went to. And of course, our garage and attic were still not packed. We paid a grand total of $4250 for this service! Please save yourself the trouble. I would not wish this experience on anyone! *addendum following Nick's response below* While there are numerous false and inflammatory statements below, I will not take the time to address them. The lack professionalism is apparent in the nature of his response. After examining other review sites it's apparent that gas lighting is the common mode of operation for the owner following a poor review. My statement above is made with the hope of protecting others from engaging in business with this group. I also suspect that some of the reviews on this site are fabricated in an effort to inflate the company's rating. The average number of stars on other sites is significantly lower and the company is not accredited by the BBB due to unsatisfactory customer experiences. Service: Local moving
