Jason made everything super easy moving in and moving out! He does an amazing job keeping the place running smoothly. I signed a yearlong lease and never had a problem. During that time I probably saw him 3-4x, but when I went to move out he immediately remembered my name and got everything settled in minutes. He never tried to upsell me or lock me into anything - just asked how he could help and did whatever he could to help. Highly recommend this facility for any of your storage needs!

They made reserving a storage unit the easiest part of my moving process. The facility was clean and well maintained. Jason helped us navigate paperwork, autopay, and even saved our bacon when we realized at the last minute that we needed an additional space. Thanks Jason! The facility is always clean and well organized. By far the best storage rental experience I’ve ever had.

“Attention Management” - Please note that I intended to issue my review yesterday, 4/30, after the first time of accessing my locker, but unfortunately my iPhone lost it’s charge due to not having a charger present. Okay, now down to business. … Jason gets “ten stars”, not five, for his excellent service in getting me equipped with my locker as he made the entire process extremely seamless and easy. Lastly, the facility was very clean with excellent lighting, and moving my household goods into the locker was simple, safe and fast! Extra Space Storage is simply the best storage facility in Raleigh. Don’t waste your time with any other storage business!

I am a mover with Dogwood Moving Company and I recently was on a job where we moved a woman’s items into a storage locker at Extra Space Storage. The facility was very clean and organized. The elevator was big enough for us to fit a couch and bed frame in and the man at the front desk was very helpful!

Jason is amazing! I called several storage units for a specific size rental needed by tomorrow morning ..and none provided the right size unit needed. Jason showed me multiple units based on the description of the items I am bringing, and made the checkout process fun,easy and swift! Customer service above and beyond right before closing for the day!

Even though the customer service at Extra Space is great, they have increased the rate on both of our storage units. Unfortunately, the staff asks you to leave a review when you sign up for your storage unit so most of the reviews are based on the friendly customer service and cleanliness of the facility. However, customers should be advised of this risk if they are considering the facility based on the monthly rate for the unit particularly when trying to budget for storage costs...I also have not been able to locate an email notifying me that my rate would increase - instead, I receive a text confirmation of my automatic payment in an increased amount. For example, I received a text today and the rate for the month of March increased by $8/month from February. It seems like if a facility wanted to keep customers long-term and cared about customer satisfaction that they wouldn't drive them away by increasing the monthly rate of their storage units. It's frustrating to say the least when you go through the hassle of moving things into a storage unit only to learn that you are likely going to need to move them again to avoid these increased rates.
