Most unprofessional liars you will ever come across. They promise you windows of deliveries and then change or cancel them last minute, leaving you stranded. I hired a moving company to unload my stuff based on their window and gave them an extra buffer of several hours just in case. It wasn't enough. Every step of the way there were "operational" problems and excuses. They say they'll call back and never ever do. Their customer service is rude and disconnected from the drivers in the field. None of them have any idea what is happening or how to deal with issues as they crop up. When my pod was finally delivered, it appeared by the dent in the side of it -as well as all my things thrown around and broken- that the pod had fallen or was dropped on its side. Never again. Not with these animals

We were trying to decide between ordering a POD or a moving company to take care of our things and we're so happy we chose PODS. They were worth every penny and if we ever move again they will be the first option we look at. Our stuff was picked up and arrived when it was supposed to and everything was in tact. Could not recommend this service enough!

Phone support was excellent. The delivery date was pushed back a day due to issues with their delivery truck. Even though I called 2 weeks in advance, they couldn't pick up the POD when I needed them to. I was originally charged for the delay, but they were able to correct the issue when I contacted them. Overall, it was a good experience and I'd use the service again for my moving/storage needs.

Be sure to have your POD delivered the day before you actually want to load or unload. There's a wide delivery window, the POD may not show up until 7PM. PODS foreign customer service center is very difficult to hear and understand, calling there is a nightmare. I didn't have any issues with the delivery/ pickup drivers on either end of our move, very professional.

Avoid pods for long distance moving, at least our experience with was nothing but lies and unprofessional people in customer service. We will never use them again. They told us a payment break down that was not what they charged. They will charge 95% of the total a week before you move and they told us that they would pick it up within a week and we told the customer service that we wanted it 4 days after our drop off and when we checked our account nothing was entered and then we scheduled it and it was for 3 weeks later which then went past the 8th so they want another months rental of the unit. Just avoid the scam artist liars and go with another service it will definitely be cheaper and you might have better customer service.

We used PODS for a home renovation. Delivery and setup were quick and easy. The driver was knowledgeable and friendly. The POD kept my valuables safe and protected in my driveway allowing for me to utilize my garage and to have easy access to my belongings during the process. I would definitely recommend using a POD versus using a storage facility. I was not able to be home for the pick up but the driver called me to assure me that everything was completed as ordered. A+ service!!

My experience was PODS was great! I felt taken care of throughout the whole process. It was easy to reach customer service team and they provide quick, helpful answers. When it was time for my POD to be delivered and redelivered I was in constant communication with the team. I would highly recommend PODS to family and friends.

The worst customer service you can possibly find. Website does not work, customer service reps are untrained. Impossible to reach a person on the phone, and you can NEVER call the person back who is supposedly helping you. Reps actually hung up several times after a 45-50 minute wait. For a month the pod was untrackable, stayed at the warehouse way too long (weather and incompetence). The delivery took much longer than promised. One rep actually complained about the company and told me she could not wait to leave. The drivers were nice and helpful, the customer service team could not find saltwater if they were in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Despite my attempts to contact them to complain, THEY NEVER called back, never seemed to care. I would not recommend using Pods to anyone UNTIL they can understand their customers are valuable to their operation, and they should treat them in a manner worthy of a successful company. In fairness, we used them twice. The first time the website was working and the Pod was delivered on a timely basis. THE SECOND TIME was a complete disaster, which they would know if they listened to their customers instead of making excuses and not trying to find solutions to THEIR problems. The last person I spoke with deserves FIVE STARS as he was courteous, understanding and found a solution. You should promote him immediately! Google, can you amend your reviews to add ZERO stars (or even negative stars).

The pods came in handy for storage during a remodel. My issue is that there is no prorating for the rent. Monthly rent is the only option. When I returned my pods 3 weeks early I received no refund. There is no option to rent for less than 1 month. Big deal to know this and my bad for not realizing. Good to shop for companies that have units that you pay for the time you actually rent. Customer service was also seriously below par (excluding the delivery folks).
