This place is an illegal NC Inspection Station. My ruined tint was legal and passed the past 10 years. The afternoon manager on July 30 offered a $100 "bribe." Which was recorded in public thanks to my dashcam. Then after calling them back he was recorded saying, "we don't normally do this often" when being called out. Both the managers and employees are involved and were discussing whether to attempt the bribe. ***Update I met with the GM Mr. Devonte (manages most locations in the area). Unfortunately, Mr. Devonte was unwilling to cover the expenses for the removal and reinstallion of a legal tint since they banned it in the system because they were caught red handed offering cash bribes for legal tint. No compensation for ruining my LEGAL $700 NC tint and for breaking North Carolina law. I wish the GM would MANAGE and fix his mistakes instead of making the customer go trough so much trouble to recover damages. I am so disappointed with this company and the management. Thanks Snappy Inspections for robbing me over $700 just in tint.

I had a terrible experience here when getting my yearly inspection. They failed my inspection saying that I was missing my catalytic converter. Which was very much still in my car. Turns out they didn’t actually know where to look for it in my car and instead of looking it up, they failed the inspection. When prompted they said they would not reconsider the inspection. I went somewhere else and wow I suddenly had my catalytic converter back. Would not recommend. Never going there again. Service: Vehicle safety inspection

The mechanics were quick and didn't try to up-sell me on anything. Waiting area is fine. Nothing extravagant, it is a place to get your car inspected and oil changed not a luxury department store.

I have been going here for years. I recently posted a negative review after my skid plate was removed for my oil change and not put back on right. It came off and did damage. I spent over $200 getting it fixed. I stopped by Snappy Lube with my bill. Quinton, the manager called the regional manager. After some back and forth it was determined that my skid plate should never have been removed for my oil change and they offered to refund the full amount. About a week later, I received a check in the mail. No one’s perfect and I understand mistakes happen. I truly appreciate them reimbursing me. Service: Oil change

Took my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for a routine oil change a few weeks back. They didn't put the oil cap back on correctly and oil sprayed all over my engine. Broke the dip stick too... Won't be going back.

Unfortunately, in my opinion, recently Snappy Lube hasnt been providing a high level of service. In years past I found them to be knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. The last 3 times I've been to Snappy Lube they are still friendly, but it has taken over an hour to complete my service (oil change, tire rotation... and an inspection this time). That isn't time waiting behind other customers, that's the length of time from when my vehicle was brought into the bay. The facility seems to be aging, and could stand for the owners to invest in upgrading equipment and keeping the facilities cleaner.

Previously, I wrote a very positive review. I've been going to Snappy Lube for years. Recently it seems like they always tell me I need something more when I get my oil changed. It's annoying, but not all that unexpected. On Monday, March 28 I went to get an oil change. As I was paying the technician said "Your car was really annoying." I laughed and said "I'm sorry it was annoying. What happened?" He explained that my "skid plate was almost impossible to get off and to put back on." Fast forward to the weekend and I'm driving down 540. I start hearing noises. You guessed it, my skid plate was loose. When I stopped, I could see that the skid plate was barely connected and it had been wedged up under a piece of plastic that's kind of like a mud flap that is in front of my tire. The piece was so bent, it was rubbing on my brand new tire and scraping along the pavement. I had to cut that mangled piece off and reconnect my skid plate using tons of zip ties. If I can get a response from customer service about reimbursing me for the repairs that need to be made, I might consider increasing the stars on this review, but I don't I will ever return as a customer.

I was told it would be about 15 minutes to change my oil. 30 mins later I see them working to cover up something they did. When I went to ask about it they said they were just putting back the engine cover! 30 minutes after that the so called manger came to tell me they had a problem getting of the oil filter and the last place that changed the oil put it on to tight. Once I pulled out the last receipt to show him that it was them that changed it, he got on the defensive and denied it. He went on to tell me he tried to clean up all the mess they had caused by spraying brake fluid all over the engine cover and engine. I looked under the car and had oil and brake fluid coming out of the front fenders and every nook and crevice. Service: Oil change

We will never bring our vehicles here again. This location is convenient as it’s 3 miles from our house, which is why we went here especially having 2 small children. Of course while I was there they said there were 3 things wrong with my 9 month old vehicle, which I declined. The oil was changed on our vehicle and within 2 weeks oil had begun leaking. There was also a piece of the undercarriage hanging down below where the oil filter sits. We took the vehicle to the dealership and they said 2 bolts had been broken off, they didn’t put the oil filter on tight enough, and didn’t reattach the undercarriage properly due to the broken bolts. The “diaper” had to be replaced which cost $100. Needless to say- do not go here for an oil change unless you’re willing to risk something not being done right and having to resolve and fix it later.
