I came to sign up for Spectrum Internet service this morning at our local store in Reidsville. It’s 10:20am, there’s a line at the door, and no one is here. With something as essential as internet, this is unacceptable.

This company that USED to be such a HUGE CUSTOMER SERVICE based DOMINATING Media Mogul, is now the complete opposite. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, I know that a lot of companies have had to change their SOP's, (Standard Operating Procedures), but this is completely off the map! Due to a death in my family, I need to and am attempting to downgrade my services. I took two (2) of my DVR Cable Boxes into the office in Reidsville, NC the other day to do just that. I live in Eden, NC. Not only could they not downgrade my services, they couldn't even remove the equipment from my account! I was told I will need to drive from Eden, NC to Greensboro, NC to the UPS store there, with whom Spectrum has a contract to have the equipment shipped to the Charlotte, NC based office. ALSO, there is giong to be confusion for the associate who attempts to remove the equip. from my account because it will effect the bundle I had originally purchased. They will also be unable to remove the equip. because they will have to change (obviously downgrade) my plan to do so. Of course this will not happen until I am able to speak with someone that will confirm the receipt of said equip. I was told I will need to try to guess as to when the equip. will reach Charlotte and the removal of such be attempted. Then I was to contact the Charlotte office and let them know which package I wish to keep. I have never before had Satellite in my entire life, (and I'm not a young person anymore), but at this point, I am very seriously considering this as an alternative. Just to warn others... It "ain't" like it used to be! I wish everyone else better luck than I've had. Thank you for listening. Sincerely, An Unhappy Customer. P.S. The associate in the Reidsville, NC office DID help me with one thing and I do gave to give her credit for attempting to help with the issues described above, although unsuccessfully. She WAS able to stop my account from being automatically DOUBLE drafted monthly. This was being done by "clerical error". Thank you again for your time.

If you have t-mobile, go here and switch. Almost half the price. Better service and the customer service is great. In Rockingham County t-mobile is bull. Go here first.

I wanted to cancelled my internet, the girl told me that I can't, cause it is with a special package. But I don't need the internet, it is a shame I have to pay on something that I am not using it. I am getting ready to cancel the whole thing 😢😠😠

They are awful! I opened my account with spectrum, the guy said nothing about promo rates. Told me that my bill would be the same as my old cell bill($70). Sounded good. Now I'm paying $100 for my internet, included with 400mps download speed, which is 20 more then the standard maps. Moral of the story, they lied to me and I'm paying way more then I did with US CELLULAR prepaid for my cell and my internet. BIG THUMBS DOWN👎👎

Customer service was less than stellar. I waited outside on a windy, 40 degree day for 20 minutes. While I applaud their efforts at keeping their customers safe, I was taken aback when I saw one of the associates leave his station for 10 minutes or so, leaving only one person to assist customers leaving 10 people waiting in the outside chill. This added considerably to the frustration for those of us who were shivering. Couple this with the fact that once inside, I really didn't feel valued as a customer. The associate did nothing to rate any higher than 3 stars. Not what I would consider a positive experience at all.
