Posting this for Vel Mcclamb. She recently purchased a dryer from Lowes in Smithfield. The service in the store was good. The delivery people were perfect. They were smiling and efficient. It's nice to see people that are happy to have a job.

Employees were courteous and friendly. Had a little trouble locating what I was looking for ~ store did some rearranging of the location of products, other than that experience was a good one.

If I'm purchasing stuff directly in store, service and help are a joy, but placing any online order is a nightmare. I ordered a dishwasher a month ago, after the dishwasher we'd purchase only weeks before that had a circuit board failure. Even made sure this current order was an in-store pickup so there would be less hassle with the delivery; one month, still no dishwasher. Everytime I call or go into the store to check my order status, the excuses are always different; and when I called this morning I was hung up on after being on hold for a while. Seriously y'all, just be honest. If you lost the order, just admit it. If it's stuck in transit, just give me the tracking number so I don't keep getting passed back and forth between customer service, the pro desk (no clue why you transfer me there), and receiving department, stuck on hold for an hour. I'm still sitting here, out $589 with no dishwasher, in a black hole with no straight answers, and you just hang up on me like that? Usually, I'm pretty patient and don't sweat stuff like this, but this is getting beyond ridiculous. Update: The order "arrived" at the store a very coincidental hour after I posted this review. The dishwasher is satisfactory and the situation has been resolved.

Poor customer service. I don't go to the Smithfield Lowe's for more than a bag of screws or a can of spray paint. Less than helpful employees, if you can even find one.

I would give no stars if I could. Buying lumber stood in line 30 mins for them to tell me they couldn't cut the wood. Buying a picnic table to pick up curbside it took them an hour to find it. Spending $1500.00 to get a washer and dryer to be delivered on Saturday. Washer came in but dryer was put on another truck can't get it for two weeks. Very unorganized place. I would not recommend this place to no one.

Why have a carpet department if it's not staffed? I've been to this store three times in an effort to finalize a carpet purchase and installation. I've had to hunt someone down all three times and unfortunately, they couldn't assist with the carpet install since they were trained properly. The customer service at this Lowes has progressively gotten worst and it's only a matter of time before they start losing business.

never again. unsure if the employees were all having a distasteful evening, but there’s no need to be rude to somebody for absolutely no reason. i just had a simple question regarding something my uncle needed, and was returned with a smart comment. unfortunately, i ended up going somewhere else as i felt unwelcomed. hope the employee who helped me had a better evening after they assisted me….

Sales Associate was helpful and they had a better selection...made a purchase Whirlpool Washer& Dryer. No military discount on appliances but did get a rebate offer.

What an absolutely horrible store. Not enough workers. One register open on a Saturday and line out the door. Unbelievable! Store is also dirty and disorganized. Employees don't know what they're doing. Ridiculous! Drive to Garner and go to Home Depot instead!

Employees are not that knowledgeable about items. Walked in 5 minutes after opening and the restrooms looked like they havent been cleaned in weeks.
