I had the two meat combo plate. The ribs, brisket potato salad and veggie medley. For an appetizer I had the black eye pea stew. The only thing I ate was the meat and the cup of stew. The service was great. I will try something else next time.

The food was good, friendly staff, friendly customer's as well. The waitress was very good as well. The wait time wasn't long at all. We'll definitely return. It'll make you squeal 😆 🤣 our first time visiting, we'll return. The fat buddies 🐖 out for two is what we had. Thanks

So, so, so good! Erica was great, the food was delicious. Man did I eat too much. They were out of the homemade Mac and cheese but I got my fill with the brisket on garlic bread, potato salad, and baked beans! Not fancy, casual atmosphere, great food, inexpensive! That's exactly what my family wanted. Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu! Parking: Tons of free parking.

First time getting their barbque and it was fantastic 👌 I got the pulled pork, brisket and a rack of ribs along with baked beans 😋 the only reason I did not give 5 stars was due to the ribs being a little dry. The pulled pork and their house made barbque sauce was really good. Some of the best I have had. Try this place out when you are hungry for some good barbque. The picture is of some redneck nachos that I made with left over pulled pork. Cook fries until crispy add cheese, pulled pork and bake again. Add your sauce when serving, so good👍

Underrated. It was the day after my wedding and the original restaurant we wanted to go to was closed. Fat Buddies took us in and fed us the country cooking we didn’t know we were missing. The baked beans were the epitome of happiness, second only to my husband. We also had an art contest and our waitress was such a good host and judge for the pictures 😂

I was pleasantly surprised after seeing some of the reviews. They were short staffed and there were two large parties going on and i still had a reasonable amount of attention. All the food was above average. The brisket had the smokiness you want on the meat but the sauces are the stars. BBQ is up to individual interpretation for seasoning and they have a variety of BBQ sauces from mustard, honey BBQ, hot, and make you cry like a baby spicy. So ask about the sauces and enjoy the bbq your way.

I came here October 2 , 2021 with my family after my youngest niece got married . We were a group of approximately 20 . We were gonna go to another restaurant , but they couldn't accommodate us due to staff shortage and open tables , as another place we called said the same thing . We waited outside for like 30 minutes due to they were busy at the time and they could put us all together at a big table on the right side , which we understood and didn't have a problem waiting on it . My son , his wife , and I walked around the shopping center till it was time to meet up with everyone . The last time I came here was late September 2019 with my sister and my niece . We all had the pulled pork sandwich and it was okay , but I have had much better . I went to 5 bbq places on that 2 week trip and it was my number 4 for pulled pork . This time I got the ribs , fries , beans , and a piece of Garlic Texas Toast . I don't know why they don't give you cornbread instead of Garlic Texas Toast in a bbq place in the Carolinas . I also got Sweet Tea . Of course since we were a big crowd , we knew the service would be a little slow to accommodate all 20 of us and it definitely was slow even for our drink orders . The waitresses were friendly though . Overall , everyone didn't seem to be too excited about the food except my brother-in-law who really liked his steak . My ribs were nothing to shout about and even with additional sauce , it just wasn't there . They looked better than they tasted . It was like they were missing something for the flavor . They were cooked properly . The beans were pretty good . Overall , we were happy to get a place for all of us to eat and talk and celebrate her wedding . In the area there doesn't seem to be many bbq places close by except I know there is one in Maggie Valley and my sister said it is not good . I like the NASCAR and barn decor and everyone seemed pretty nice , just the food is just kind of bland . They also offer a Military Discount which is nice .

Absolutely wonderful experience, food was great, they took us as a party with 18 people in it. Everyone loved the food. We went to Maggy G first and they wouldn't take our group, so we decided to try a new place out and we found us a new dinning spot. Decor inside was well put together, with car rims as lights. Wall hanging and signs were perfect. I had the ribs and they were done perfectly. Thanks to the team there.
