I'm so very disappointed in my experience at the Porter's Neck location. I have always received great service when this office was in Hampstead. After upgrading my Mother's phone online, who lives out of state, I like to do my business in person as much as possible. The young lady that waited on me, was not knowledgeable at all. She was stating the exact opposite of what US Cellular agent told me the prior evening on the phone.When I said no that's not correct she and her coworker started to speak in a different language. Then after 15-20 minutes I was told the credit card system was down, and had to pay cash, wish she would have stated that first. I work in a service position, I would never treat a customer the way I was treated and dismissed !! I have been with US Cellular for over a decade, and never had service like this.

If I could give zero stars I would. This location has the worst customer service I've ever experienced in any kind of retail store. This location doesn't abide by US Cellular Corporate policies and obviously has had no customer service training. The short girl that works in there is very rude and disrespectful. I went to a real US Cellular store in Wilmington and got everything we needed done. Do yourself a favor and go to any other location around except the Porters Neck store in the HT shopping center.

This review is for my experience at this location, NOT for U.S. Cellular as a company. It took 4 months for me to enter one of their businesses after what should've been a routine line transfer caused me to lose over a month of appointments, online work, schedules, calls, missed opportunities etc (not to mention the expenses) all because the company made a simple error and instead of rectifying the situation they kept handing me to other people and no one told the truth. It was despicable because with over 3k lost in a few days and no working phone they still billed for the line and charged extra for a partial month...again, they never hooked up the phone. Considering everything above, my most recent experience was at this location in the Porter's Neck shopping center and I am easily giving 5 stars! The customer service and assistance my mother and I received from a representative named Robert was so outstanding I almost forgot about the horrendous experiences from several months ago that were never rectified nor did any of those phone reps who "promised to call me right back if anything was wrong..." but not one ever did so much as offer an apology. I realize this is venting but if you are using U.S. Cellular, unfortunately the best bet is to go to a physical store for any inquiries or help because we've never had bad experiences with the hard working persons who have to speak with everyone that was upset from dealing with persons on the phone or online. I am pretty sure the gentleman that has been helping my family doesn't even live here to work at that location full time but has been filling in and still explained, fixed and even made extra sales from our visit (not forcefully) but we were going to another carrier for business services and decided to purchase the products and stay with one contract during our visit. We will see in a few months if anything changes.

I was amazed at how friendly and thoughtful the associate was that I worked with. She was working with several customers at one time and gave incredible service.

I called on saturday at noon, says it opens at 10. phone rang, went to voice mail. voicemail wasn't set up which I find odd since its a cellular dealer. I'm heading into wilmington.
