My family is extremely happy with our purchase. There are a few things that could have really increased our satisfaction. 1. I feel that a new pool owners class would be an amazing thing to offer. It is very confusing with all the information I was able to find on how I should best maintain my pool. I personally would like to see several classes offered especially seasonal classes on closing, opening and maintaining specific to the system customers are using. 2. The ladder that came with our pool package is extremely unsafe. While storing it with the ladder rungs pushed up and locked for safety purposes the legs of the ladder have bowed. Causing the rungs to come out of the track and make the ladder unsafe for the people on it or the pool liner. It would be in your best interest to discontinue issuing this ladder as it is unsafe. I will dispose or ours and we will get a different ladder for next year.

John And Dana B - August 13, 2022 We went "just looking " at pools thinking of replacement of our old one and left ordering one. Ben, was exceptionally helpful from beginning to end. The recommendations of Jesse (Electrician), Chuck (gas), Morgan(excavation) and Marc's oasis were very welcomed. All of these crews were professional, knowledgeable and precise. All were on time and took the time with us to make sure we were educated about their services and products. Highly recommend all of them. Thank you, Ben, for your personal touch.

We first contacted Great Escape in Joliet when our daughter purchased a home with a pool. Having never owned a pool before this, we were at a complete loss as to the care and maintenance. John Maxwell at the store was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and patient and walked us through every step to get the pool opened and running properly. Since there several part that were missing or not operating properly, he showed us exactly what was needed, and walked us through the process as well. He was absolutely invaluable! We now have a properly running and sparkling clean pool to enjoy for the summer! We thank him for all of the help and patience he gave us with all of our many, many questions. It's nice to have a contact that is will to help when you have no idea what you're doing! We give him 10 stars!

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! Please read all the reviews for great escapes. This is being written June 24 of 2022. I bought an $11,000 Sundance hot tub from great escapes. This company does not have a service department. I repeat they do not have a service department for hot tubs!!! They have a third-party mom-and-pop heating and plumbing company in Youngstown that does the service work on their hot tubs. My hot tub has been leaking for the last week and a half since I was able to fill it I called this mom and Pop service department of theirs on the third attempt I got somebody to answer my calls were never returned. I also called the store they told me they would try to get a hold of them never got a return call from the store contacting them. I just spoke to Steve the manager I was told by him he has no control over their scheduling. They can walk away from great escapes at any time they want. They want to schedule someone to come out and look at the problem on July 12 in three weeks. In the meantime I’m adding water it’s costing me money in additional chemicals. Steve did offer to compensate me with additional chemicals it still does not correct the problem of the deteriorating band board around the bottom of my hot tub. Again I emphasize buyer beware!

Ken Rusu went above and beyond to help us. He was insanely knowledgeable about all of the hot tubs on the floor and helped us make the best choice within our budget and never once pushed us. He even came out to the house when our hottub wasn’t set up correctly by our electrician and helped us troubleshoot the problem. I would highly recommend asking for ken!!

Delt with Tony Sr in the Canton store . Started our pool purchase last year ( end of summer 2021 ) and began asking 10547 questions throughout almost a year and 75 visits to the store until the delivery in April 2022 and setup a week after delivery . Every single time Tony took the time to sit down and help us . Then after the install we attended his pool school . We've had a smaller pool for several years and thought we were doing good , after the pool school I left learning several things I've been doing wrong. He is very informative and extremely personable and very knowledgeable. Had a great experience with Great Escape and would highly recommend all of their services and products . Thanks again Tony !!

The Great Escape team made our experience in buying a replacement pool very smooth and easy. We stopped into store location to look at different 18’ round pools for replacement of our 30 plus year old pool. The Great Escape team showed us different types of the 18’ pools we were inquiring on so we knew what type to purchase and were very knowledgeable of said product. After discussing availability and installation we purchased our pool from their website. From start to finish the Great Escape team and Andy kept us informed on where we were at in the queue on processing and delivery of product. This was my first visit to The Great Escape. I was extremely impressed with the large volume of products on display. I visited to glance at hot tubs and walked out a hot tub owner. Matt (salesman) greeted me while I was looking at the hot tubs and answered all of my questions and much more! I will definitely be visiting again for patio furniture.
