One star is too much for this rental company. I wish there was a negative score. Stay away from this rental company if you deserve respect, trust, and value for your money. My friend encountered a unbelievable horrible experience with Alamo after having an accident with his rental car.

I wouldn't rent car from Alamo again. The company is lies after lies and customer service people are rude. I wish I had read some of the reviews here, I could have saved myself from lies, mistreatment, frustration, manipulation, trauma, and financial burden as a result of a vehicle that signaled maintenance warning less than a day after I rented it.

I'm not an experience rent-a-car'er and Alamo made it easy, convenient and I felt safe in my travels. The car was in excellent shape and after about 10 minutes in the lot learning all the knobs and buttons, headed out on my journey never worrying about the car. Sometimes when you DON'T think about something, it's the best thing about the service.

I am not able to get ahold of anyone. We left something important in the car and I sat on hold over an hour and a half waiting for someone to check without a single check in. When I called back at least 6 times, no one would even pick up. I’m still on hold waiting for someone to answer.

I rented a premium suburban through Alamo. It was easy from the on-line reservation to picking up the vehicle (by the way beautiful and clean) to the drop off. Every one was super friendly and Jeff Bender even inquired about our experience. Super nice guy! You will not go wrong using Alamo or enterprise or National! Thank you so much for making our trip enjoyable.

My business is 100% travel, so I rent cars every week at different airports nationwide. Alamo was my company of choice until recently when the deposit policy was changed. Prior to May 2022, as long as I had a return flight itinerary and used a credit card, no deposit was held. However, as of May, the company decided to implement a $300 deposit for all rentals regardless of credit/debit and regardless of flight itinerary. This change makes Alamo the highest deposit requirement of all the major airport rental companies. Therefore, I have had to change my loyalty to Budget, Hertz, and Thrifty, all of which hold only a $200 deposit. Alamo, this change in policy has cost you a loyal customer!

One of the best rental car experiences I've had! They are in a great new facility. No lines, friendly service. Super easy to get to and from the terminal via a free shuttle.

Alamo made renting easy and safe. I used its web page to schedule my rental pick up at one airport and to schedule its return at a different airport without any difficulty. One of the features I especially liked was the option to prepay for a tank of gas. The price of gas can and did fluctuate a bit from the time of purchase to the time of pick-up, and I did have to pay a little extra over what I prepaid to make up the difference. However,the convenience was fantastic! My trip didn't require more than the one tank of gas, and it was great not to have to fill the tank on my way to my return location. I reserved an economy car, but ended up with an Infinity at no extra charge because the smaller cars were gone by the time I arrived at my pick-up location. The car was very clean and seemed almost new! Also, I was not hassled about buying upgrades or additional insurance when I picked up the car; my selections I made when reserving it online were all honored without comment. Dropping off the car was easy too! I simply drove up, made a last check for my belongings while the attendant scanned in the car's bar codes, and then I was on my way. As I walked away, I noticed the attendant was already busy wiping all the touch points with disinfectant. I will definitely rent a car from Alamo again!

The staff at Alamo are the best at making sure I'm a happy customer. Not just once, the last 3 times. Using my Costco membership with Alamo I get great rates sometimes free upgrades.
