I have been in business with Beyers Mazda since 2018. Always had a pleasant experience until last Thursday, and I will NEVER GO BACK, when I brought my vehicle in for an inspection at the new service center, I was 30 minutes early and have never been to the new shop so I wasn’t sure if they wanted me to pull my car in 30 mins early , when I went in the man KEN at the front of service immediately treated me with disrespect. I said I’m here 30 mins for my appointment, “we’ll where is your car I don’t see it” I hand him my keys that are broken he says “now what am I supposed to do with this it’s seen better days” so I just went and pulled the car in myself. I had a conversation with a lady on the phone Monday more than 3 times. She helped me with my car warranty, took my vin and called me back to let me know I still had some sort of warranty, she told me the costs of the inspection and was VERY helpful and polite. When I came in and told them about our conversation he once again treated me with disrespect, saying he didn’t know who I talked to or what I was even talking about because my car isn’t under warranty and there are no females working with them that would have said that, once again I’m treated like I’m stupid. And it just goes on, he told me I had absolutely no warranty and it would be 150$ just to inspect my car , he even asked me if I would back my own car out of the service area!!!! When another employee said oh I’ll do it. Like I said I’ve been in buisness with you guys since 2018. And after this experience I will NEVER be back.

I made a service appointment online TO WAIT. Service was fast and the inspection was thorough. Be careful a drop off appointment is for the next day apointment.

Came into the shop to get our car and people were so confused about where our vehicle was. Then had an issuse with the cashier that we were tax exempt as we also buy parts and not get taxed on so we waited and filled out nore papers for 30 minutes and then had to wait for someone to bring our var to us for 20 more minutes but the employees were more excited to see one of the sevice managers Dogs that she had at the shop which I have never seen in a so what proffesional place! We do business with your parts department all the time ! Very Dissappointed with the Carnival we saw at the dealership and by the way the driver who brought are car to us was driving like he was at Mid Ohio Sports Car track! Not Impressed!!!

Byers Mazda Service Center does not return phone calls or messages even when I used the Chat which indicated that they'd forward my service request to the Service Center. Even though this Mazda service center is much closer to me, I have driven across town to Germain Mazda where customer service is much better. Actual people answer their phones (not a machine), and I was scheduled for services immediately.

Poor service in all the ways that matter the most. They didn’t fix the issue, made excuses about why they failed while trying to put the onus on the customer (us), and wasn’t willing to refund the service fee. I hate to add more to this because no one likes exceedingly long reviews, but they sent us home with a brand new red error light on the car when it was restarted. When we called back their solution was to sell us another part for $200. Our advice is to choose another Mazda dealer that actually cares about the customer. Services: Electrical, Electrical repair

The service center experience was good enough. Ken is a nice employee. I think it’s unfair for other reviewers to single out one employee for a bad experience. I didn’t have to wait for long for completed service. There was free coffee and snacks in the waiting area. I wouldn’t expect that and it earns them points. I didn’t note if there was free WiFi. I’m sure that’s available. I am pretty particular when it comes to five star reviews. I would give them 4.5 stars based on my experience. I plan to return for future service visits and I still intend to buy my next Mazda at this dealership. John in sales was kind enough to show me a few CX9 models while I was waiting. I think a five star would go to a service center that has just a little more polish - like a Honda Marysville.

I like going here to get my Mazda's regular oil changes. They don't play the games that a certain columbus area Toyota dealership tries with my wife when she takes her van in (telling her every filter needs replaced and all the fluids need changed nearly every visit even though I take care of the filter changes and the fluids are not due based on the owner's manual). Like every dealership, Byers charges a ridiculous amount ($50 ish) for changing a $15 ish cabin air filter that they already have to remove to check and is super easy to replace on your own. However, they charge this because people are willing to pay for the convenience and what they are charging is in line with other dealerships (maybe even cheaper). Consequently, I'm not taking a star away for them trying to make money and customers making decisions with their money (shrug). BTW, engine air filter has a similar mark-up for replacement. I'd suggest doing it yourself but hey, it's your money, right? They always get me in and out quickly for my oil change appointments and the coffee is decent so that's two major pluses. Sales team is not pushy when you're shopping or waiting for service in the waiting area. They regularly send parts and service coupons so that is another added bonus. Service desk and the techs are knowledgeable and friendly. I only had one instance of them changing my radio station and not changing it back. I'm okay with you jamming while you're working on my vehicle, just turn it back to where it was before you give it back to me :) Car washes are complementary with service and it does a decent job (not great on cleaning the wheels though). Overall, very pleased and I'll be back in another 5,000 miles or so.

Byers Mazda Service Center is unprofessional. They tried to sell me new parts I did not need. They lied about me needing four new rotors and four new brake pads. Luckily I went elsewhere for a second opinion. My car only needed one brake pad replaced. I will never return to this dealership. Avoid them unless you want to be scammed.

My personal experience had no upselling, no rudeness like these other reviews are saying. They were cool man. Ken, I believe his name was, was cool with me. 5 stars. Will go again to service my Mazda. Used a coupon - everything was chill. Honestly surprised from the bad reviews.

First impressions aren't good. I've never once been able to get a Mazda Service Center on the phone while in Columbus so that's not unique to this location, but when I needed an alignment (something I put into my online appointment notes) all they could do was complain that they were understaffed and explained how long it would take. I understand that they aren't magicians, but my appointment has been set for 3 weeks they had my phone number and email and could have warned me how much longer it would take and I could have made other arrangements. I'll just go someplace else that'll provide better customer service and cost less of my money.
