So i had my windshield replaced 07/29. They've told me i had to wait 24-48 hours before taking my car into the carwash. So I've waited 3 days just to be sure, after the was i notice a it was leaking on the on the passenger side. I contacted the warranty center and told me i had to go back to the shop to get it repaired ( My car have front sensor that need to be recalibrate with new windshield). So i went back on 8/9 to get it fixed, A job that should've been 2-3 hours took 45 min. They told me they had to reseal it and there was a crack in my frame.( it was not leaking before i gotten my windshield replaced.)So twice i drove to this place twice a hour and 30 min drive up there and back. I called again they told me they will send someone out to my location but no one ever showed up. I wasted 5 hours of my day on my birthday waiting for someone, also got a text to confirm my appointment and no one showed. So i call costumer car and they told me no appointment was set, and i have to drive back to the same shop the third time to see if they can get it fixed.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a company doing any auto repairs! First of all, they screwed up installing my windshield. How they did it since they’re professionals i have no clue. It’s been over a week and they still haven’t resolved the issue, and I can’t get a hold of anyone at headquarters to put a complaint in.

Two month old front windshield install and the mounding is falling out. Edit: originally a 1 star review. They sent Ian out to fix this in less that 24 hours. He was very professional and took the entire windshield out and put it back in to make sure it was right. Thank you. Service: Auto windshield replacement

I booked my appointment and was quoted a price, the Safelite employee called me back and said that they ordered the wrong part that I need to come back and pick up my car and they would have to reschedule next week I said I ok. The day before Safelite called me back and confirmed my appointment and quoted me a price that was $ 200.00 more than I originally had booked. I asked to speak to the Manger about this he stated that since the new glass was specifically different that the Safelite employee should have let me know when they had to reordered the glass. I thought they should have honored the original quote due to lack of communication and wasting my time! I will not be going back to them. I found another company that replaced the same glass for my original quote from Safelite. In the future I will definitely compare prices before I book anything else in the future.

I recently used safelite for a window replacement. I scheduled and ordered my windshield with no problems. They came and installed it and the next day I am notified that they needed to change the cost of my invoice because they were not able to recalibrate my windshield due to the year and type of vehicle (2016 Cadillac Escalade esv) I was a little upset since I feel that they should have notified me that they wouldn’t be able to do this before they did my windshield because I would have taken it somewhere else. After a day of driving I was noticing some issues with my computer system. Heads up display was blurry, having check system light on. I contacted the dealer and they said that could be due to not being recalibrated. I took my vehicle to the dealer to have this looked at and was told the camera was installed incorrectly and then was determined we’d need to have it replaced. I feel if I knew Safelite wasn’t qualified Or had the correct tools to work on my vehicle they should’ve told me to begin with and I would’ve went somewhere else. Service: Auto windshield replacement

Occupational hazard includes over exposure to sun and heat. Your AZ technicians are exposed to working in harsh conditions and Safelite needs to acknowledge it and provide solutions for this. Having Technicians working longer hours, days, especially during excessive heat warning days is putting the company's best interests over the employees! That needs to change before people get hurt.

I had appointment on Thursday 5/19/22 from 1300 to 1800. No one called or showed up. I called Friday 5/20/22 0800, I asked why no one called or showed up yesterday to have my windshield replaced on my semi truck. The response was we did have another a person to help the technician to help, being that it is a large piece of glass. Ok, I can understand that, but someone should have called. Safelite did come out Friday am, and did get the job done. Sunday morning in Birmingham I'm waking to a flood inside the truck. Leaking from only one place, but it is right above the steering wheel.

Tech showed up and said sorry, I brought the wrong windshield; after rearranging my schedule for the day.. Tech said, sorry you will need to reschedule; after I provided my vin# and all the requested information.. Then when I tried to call customer service, you cannot get thru to anyone.. Poor customer service. I had a technician appt scheduled for today between 12- 5 to replace my cracked windshield. I received multiple email and text reminders of my appt. But no technician showed up. No call. No text. No email. Just no show. I have called Safelites many customer service numbers and sent an email with no answer or response. I'm surprised GEICO partners with such an unprofessional company.
