I love online web shopping at Great Lakes Boutique. The live images are what first drew me to their website, as a lot of other websites only offer stock images for you to purchase beads from. But I've since found that their customer service is very good and I've used the online Chat feature more times than I can count when a question has come up. Highly recommend!

This was one of the most helpful, courteous, honest, and professional experiences I have had in quite some time. Did I mention kind, and respectful? I honestly don't go out of my way to write reviews, but my encounter with the owner and what seemed to be his wife was nothing but A+. If the time and energy these folks gave to me is how they treat all there customers, then expect nothing but an informative and pleasurable experience. I will be only dealing with them regarding jewelry, coin collecting, and any other service they specifically provide from now on. Thanks again

Many thanks to the customer support staff at GLB for making my very first purchases with them 5 stars. Initially I was on the fence about online ordering with GLB, as I had never ordered with them before. They were true to their word about refunding my multiple 4.00 shipping fees when I made multiple orders throughout the recent weekend Bead Bash event. They combined my multiple orders and only charged me 4.00 for all of my orders. I ordered on Sept. 26 and the 27th and received the order today, Oct. 5th!- Knowing the staff was probably very busy that weekend with orders, I am pleased with the speed of delivery. Everything was packaged well, each bead in its own baggie and labeled, along with invoices. Was really pleased with the beads and prices; wearing some now, and ordered more today. Thanks to the Bead Bash on the Lake event I was able to try different bead brands that I had never been able to try before.

I love this place and the staff is wonderful. I have always had stellar service from Great Lakes Boutique when I have needed assistance choosing things from afar (as I live in another state) and my requests have been answered in a timely and kind fashion. Selection is good, photos are realistic which further helps when buying online or over the phone. This is my go to place for my beads and gem purchases. I once considered a return and was told to send it back, they would take care of it.

During the earlier years of this company, the staff on facebook were very accommodating and helpful. It was a joy to purchase from them. However, as they grew and the change of staff, the service standard has dropped drastically. They became selective on who they would want to serve and sell beads too. Not professional and really dispensable.

This company USED TO have great customer service in the beginning of my purchases. But somewhere along the way their egos have gotten the best of them. They now feel they can treat customers however they please. No matter the circumstances. I say give caution before doing business with them now. I won’t from here on out.
