I recently purchased a 2017 Kia Forte from Donley Ford. So to start my review, the salesman was Brian and he met my every need. He was polite and upfront about everything. Purchased the Extended Warranty, as the Kia I purchased is a rare breed of Fortes and has so many gadgets in it. I paid cash, and they really suggested I get the warranty on the vehicle, so I did with no regrets. It just went in today for the warranty work (Tie rod end) the service department is the reason for my review honestly. Jeff is everything a service department needs. I felt like the red carpet was rolled out for me. My car only took one hour (give or take a few minutes) and he called for me To come get my car. I was thanked for my patience (scheduling mistake) I paid my deductible and left. So nice to have such good service at a local ford!! I will easily any day purchase my next vehicle from THIS Donley Ford!!

Absolute train wreck of an experience. Drove over 30 minutes to have a recall on my transmission fixed. After waiting for my car to be finished, I drove off of the lot and a check engine light came on that wasn’t previously on. Ford had ended up not plugging all cables and wires back in and told me “something came loose or unplugged.” They kept my car all weeks and got back to it the following Monday. No rental car provided. Nothing was offered to make things right. After waiting all weekend and not having a vehicle, I finally got to pick it up. A simple “sorry for your trouble” is all I got. Thanks Ford for sucking. I’ll make sure not to bring my vehicles to the dealership in Mt Vernon ever again, and also make sure to tell others not to trust Ford mechanics to perform simple recalls. I’ll also make sure people are aware you lied to my face to cover up your service team’s incompetence. -1 out of 5 starts.

10-2022 The business Did refund my deposit. 8-2022 NOT good customer service if something goes wrong !! I made a $500 deposit on a car with every intention of making the purchase. Before I could make the 3 hour trip for the purchase I got covid. While still ill 9 days later, I notified them I could not make the purchase. The business Refused to reimburse the deposit. Very POOR of this business. I Do NOT recommend.

Brought two vehicles up to do oil change and tire rotation. When we got home I smelt something with my wife car. I raised the hood to find the oil cap was not installed and oil was all over the engine bay. Found the oil cap sitting on the front plastic piece. I called them and went back and they cleaned the engine bay so I didn't have the smell. All is good now.

I bought a new 2020 ford escape,I have had it back for vibration and rattles,they say its ok!! the last 2 times I have called for an oil change I'm told at least 2 weeks,,I take it to Starbrite & get an oil change and wash in about an hour!!about the same charge as Donley.

Inventory Manager, Jayme Griffin, is excellent in helping you choose a truck or car to specifically suit your personal or work needs - service is short staffed, as are all garages, but results beyond an oil change are suspect in my experience

Took my Ford Edge in for service because the check engine light was on. Received a call that I need a new motor and I would know within 48 hours if the warranty covered it. Found out 5 days later that everything was fine and the issue had been fixed. Concerning since I have 6 months and 12k miles left on the warranty coverage. Also asked a few times for a call to discuss a possible trade and never heard anything, even after buying multiple cars from them.

I changed my rating from a 1 star to 5 star do to receiving a phone call the day after this review, Donley Ford is going to get this all taken care for me. We just purchased a vehicle in April and took out the extended warranty as the way the finance person talked it sounded real good. 😳 the experience with the salesman was excellent but not the financial guy Jeff. It sounds real good but when it comes to using it, it's all a different story. We have been trying to get a small dent taken care of which contract says they'll come to your house or the dealership, what a joke. They what me to go to Dublin to get it fixed. With what we're paying the the warranty it's not worth it.

I went to Donley ford to have my vehicle serviced by Ford certified mechanics with the trust that a ford dealership and service department would get the job done correctly, have the education and tools necessary to service my vehicle, and have the integrity to do it right and honestly. Unfortunately My vehicle was mis diagnosed multiple times. The mechanic guessed and "threw parts" to try to fix the engine light and error code that continuously was reoccurring in my truck. After almost 2 weeks in the service department and $5400 in parts and labor, Donley promised these parts would fix the problem I had been experiencing in my vehicle. The very next day I had the same issue with the same error code and engine warning light pop on. I immediately took back to the service dept with the engine light on to have them try to diagnose the problem again. The mechanic called and said he could not determine exactly what was wrong, maybe 1 of 3 sensors this time? However if this is the case, then originally all I needed replaced was another sensor and not $5400 worth of mis diagnostic parts etc. Donley was not able to fix my vehicle, did not have the integrity to do the right thing for a repeat client. ( my family had used Donley for 3 generations) After the poor customer service not only in the service department, but the sales floor too when I decided it may be best to buy a new truck, I was treated unfair and believe I was discriminated due to being a woman. I also feel I was taken advantage of in the service department for this same reason. This is not all the details and terrible experience because it is too much to write, but im sure you will get the jist. Officially none of my family, friends, colleagues, or business partners will use donley ford. I make sure to let eveyone know about my terrible experience every day, from my dermotologist to the post office. I tell everyone not to use Donley ford and what a terrible customer experience. I gave your management team many opportunities to make this right and actually care, however I was made to feel like a 2nd class citizen and not worth their time. I encourage you to check your records, I guarantee I have spent well over 10k in service with Donley over the years. Due to my terrible experience, my husband and I both went to another local dealership and he bought a 40k car and I bought a 63k truck within 1 month of each other and I will have them serviced there. Donly not only lost out on our vehicle sales, but my family's, friends and colleagues future purchases and will never use Donley ford service dept.

Recently moved to the area and first time using the Service Dept., and very pleased with the service and friendly way I was treated. I waited for my vehicle since I had an appointment and was taken right away and was in and out in less than an hour. Had regular routine maintenance done; oil change, tire rotation, etc. A+ in my book.
