Bought a 99 f250 from them for 7000 , coolant reservoir was empty and the oil dipstick tube was broke brought it to their attention so they added coolant ,mind you it had already been filled with stop leak , took it to mechanic and paid 1500 more to have the intake manifold replaced , all that being said use your own judgement !!!

These cars are sold as-is w/ mechanic option. That's made clear. My problem is the type of cars they are offering and how they are advertising them as being in quality condition. I bought a car a few months ago at the end of the day after being offered a nice deal. A mechanic and two body shops have since noted that the entire brake system is shot, a wheel bearing is going bad, and there is considerable rust creating holes in the frame--more than your typical NE Ohio car, totaling a few thousand dollars minimum in repairs. The boss was nice enough to sit down with me to talk this over. My concern is that even after I pushed him, he took no responsibility for offering cars like these and putting customers in potential danger. He didn't offer to walk out and look at the car with me or look up the file. I would have been pleased if he had engaged in helping with the issue in any way. He noted that he does not have time or resources to look over every car and still keep them affordable. It is very concerning that a dealer would comfortably sell calls that pose potential dangers to drivers and their families, describe them as being in good condition in the selling process, and then completely wash their hands of any responsibility upon making a sale. This business does something many don't--offer cars at an affordable price--but in a deeply untrustworthy and blame-shifting manner.

I sure hope those vehicles are being fixed. As far as the avalanche goes...I was told it was being fixed with rubber hoses due to the gas leak. I know that's illegal (pretty sure you do as well). It will be reported. My family could have been seriously hurt in that vehicle.

Scarlet and Jeff were extremely helpful. Working with my grandson to get his first car and worked with us to make everything come out to a good deal. Thank you both, you are very nice people

Bought a 2011 nissian quest from them. Owned it for a week. Drove it to Pennsylvania for an event and made it back to Youngstown before the engine died. When I called and explained the situation they told me if I could get it back to the lot they would give me a replacement of equal value for free. Fast forward 3 weeks finally got it back and was given a 2009 Buick enclave. Engine light came on 2 days later due to bad o2 sensor. But has ran perfectly fine. Now I've owned it for 2 months and couldn't be happier with my purchase mistakes and all.

If your going to use this business you better have an EXPERIENCED mechanic go over the vehicle your looking into.Even at that you will most likely have a problem within 2 months especially if used...They are sold as is and you will be putting more money into the vehicle than what you actually paid for it. Do your self a favor and don't waste your time or money here

Worked with Ed, great experience. As much as I wanted that Santa Fe it was out a my price comfort zone, but he got me in a nice Equinox.

Bought a car from the one in Barberton. The salesman turned the car on to pull up to the front for me to test drive. He told me the check engine light was on. Grabbed something to read the code and told me it was for the gas cap so he tightened it and it went away. What he really did was reset the code. They used this vehicle as a lease for their company across the street. So I’m assuming they knew what was wrong and couldn’t fix it so threw it on the Budget lot. So now I have a vehicle that I can’t get the light off for due to the part that it actually needs being discontinued. No dealerships, or part companies sell the piece. It started off with just a check engine light. Now my car won’t shift out of first gear, I have no speedometer, power steering is about shot. I cant get plates for it due to not being able to pass echeck. I am on my second temp tag and have put plenty of new parts in it. I have heard nothing but horror stories about buying from this lot. Will never purchase from here or Fred Martin again. I recommend you don’t either. They replied to my review stating that the salesperson “put a new gas cap on” and he absolutely did not. I was standing there. He “tightened” it. And told me to buy a new one. He did in fact come in and get something to read the code. He even came back with it in his hand and said the exact code number that popped up but didn’t show me. Now I know why. Watch the cameras before you comment back to my review saying incorrect information. Thanks. Again goes to show you can’t trust this dealership.

Hello there: I was at "Budget Car Mart" ..a year ago in March I had saved up money to buy a nice vehicle to get to work. I live in Bedford hts the dealership is in Norton Ohio about a 40 minute drive or so. I saw a truck wanted to look at it was a 2008 Ford Expedition El grey. I took the truck on a test drive for about 10 minutes or so. I liked it.. the sales person told me the battery runs down sometime, but other than that it's a good running truck. I said I can get a new battery, and I purchased the truck. I drove it to my street and it stop running I pushed it in my driveway. I went to get a new battery, and I put it in the truck. I latter drove the truck that day, it was shaking and acting weird it cut off on me again this time I had towed it to a shop to have it tested.they got back to me in a few days to tell me that the computer was shot and the engine was about to blow.they also said it would cost more to fix the truck then the true value of the truck.I was saddened.I didn't have that type of money. I then called and emailed the "Budget Car Mart" they kept blowing me off they never responded to any of my attempts to contact them ..the service they gave me was terrible.I am a #Veteran they thank me for my service when I purchase the truck. I paid over $3k for this truck not including repairs...I never put more than a hundred miles on this truck and had to scrap it,they treated me a #NavyVeteran like I didn't matter to this day I have never received any contact with "Budget Car Mart" I just wanted another car or truck because.. that was a #LEMON!!!! My hope is that i'm the only who had this type of experience I will never purchase a car from this lot again, they did me wrong!!
