Haven't been physically able to go anywhere in quite a while, so when I got the chance to get a pair of shoes and a folding chair for outside my Son ask me where is the place I would love to go and "Academy" was the first thing that came to my mind . And the selection and the people who worked there were polite and didn't try and sell you something you didn't need or want. Great experience glad I thought of it .Thank you Academy, for making my shopping experience more than just average.

Came here to pick up my order after placing my order online. The website was smooth, and I had no technical difficulty ordering my items. The parking lot was empty, and the front of the store looks to be clean. Overall, I had a good experience.

I spend thousands and thousands of dollars here. I even have their credit card. Today this store left a disgusting taste. Girl named Haley hesitated to give me her name at the end of us checking out & let me tell you why. We go up to the next open register. From the start she rolls her eyes as we’re walking up to her register. She does not greet or say anything. The whole time as we’re putting our items on the table she looks miserable. Checking her phone & talking to co worker like she is not at work. I asked her if she likes her job, (because she legit was upset because she had to do her job & cash out paying customers.) she says sarcastically “yes I do” with a nasty smirk. The “Manager” passes right by with no cares, she just looks at me & keeps walking, she also heard the conversation, so she was no use. This place is pathetic & unprofessional. I spent $100’s of dollars just today in one purchase & this is how you value your customers? Just awful. Unfortunately I will no longer be giving this location chances. Not the first time I’ve been disappointed here.

The people in the fishing and firearms dept. are helpful and always friendly. I don't shop here for anything else. I have never found any athletic shoes that I like here. Clothing is all mostly for a younger crowd. Prices are reasonable. They have very little competition in this area of the City.

Got this sweeeet little grill with a locking lid for $20!! Staff is right there if you need help and everyone is super sweet.

I've not been a fan of this store but I do find some gems every once in a while when I'm dragged in. Recently found a great pair of shorts that I've bought weekly and visited the others in the area to buy theirs up in multiple colors. First time ever thats happened. #shenanigans

There were no shopping carts available with only maybe 5 other customers in the store & they didn't have 1 either. I Have a bad knee & back and had to carry a big bag of Applewood to the front of the store along with my other items, passing at least 4 men that work there. Not 1 tried to help me, until I got to the front. 1 walked past me looking at me and said just in the nick of time. Meaning he walked up in time not to carry it for me cause I already made it to the checkout. Then told me he don't do anymore than what he has to. Wow!!

A nice clean store. Lots of helpful, but not intrusive staff. A lady in front of me was having issues with her credit card, but the cashier was very patient and helpful. When I checked out, he was very polite.

No employees to be found for Help. This is the third time I have went to this location and had to hunt form down someone for assistance. There was 2 employees at the front door they didn’t even greet my son and I. Football cleats, the selection was Very poor, we had to chose from only 4 different pairs. Wanted high tops. They only had 1 pair of high tops, the display a size 11. This was all the selection for kids and adults. I’m giving a second star only because the price was decent.
