Did not see an employee the entire time I was there. There were open, unattended ladders and step stools all around the fish. There were a ton of dead fish floating in multiple tanks.

Place takes care of it's animals very well based on the cages and treatment they give. Staff is well educated in Animal Care for adoptable animals and will offer sources if unable to give advice. Very helpful staff, would of adopted Steve the Kitten up front if I was allowed cats. ❤️

I've had good experiences with the people here...kind and friendly. However, the rest of the experience leaves something to be desired...disorganized shelves, long waits for assistance/to checkout, and it always smells bad.

I don't understand why information isn't relayed prior to arriving for your appointment. Our appointment was booked a week in advanced and 15 minutes before the appointment we get a text saying we need proof of rabies on a vet letterhead. I'm already halfway to the groomer when I got this info. They stated their computer was running slow. They ended up taking the info off our banfield app but then informed me that they need a letter from the vet because my dog has a heart murmur. Why is this information not relayed ahead of time. I get that you want to protect yourself but I just drove 30 minutes to the groomer for nothing because they failed to relay information.

4 pinkies thrown into a snakes enclosure. if i remember correctly it was two corn snakes. turning rotten as i’m sure they’d been in there for at least a couple hours. honestly just sad and gross. plus way too many grouped animals. stop ordering animals weekly if you don’t have room for them. at least 6 bearded dragons together, 3 crested geckos together, all the snakes were doubled up, chameleons together. sad and disgusting, i’ve worked at a pet store before and we are trained and learn so we can do better than this. the workers need to educate themselves

There was barley any staff here at this location. Was looking forward to adopting a cat but did not know there were certain times. It's ok we can check again another time. Fish selection was ok and store layout was a bit different then other Petcos. Did not feel like my regular store.

Take dog here to get her nails cut. Instead of having on thier website that they need rabies paperwork, it says nothing. I drive over 20 mins because they ate the only place open. This should be said on the website and when you call. Who carrys thier dogs rabies papers

As far as friendly and nice the staff is great! Very helpful as well. They have done a complete turnaround on the fish tanks. Much cleaner and fish are healthier.

Update:the man who helped me is the manager! I went here today after work to buy my daughter a new beta fish. Instead, i left with a parakeet lol!!! But i really wanted to take a min and tell you guys about how awesome the guy was that helped me! I went to the counter and told the cashier i needed assistance with the birds. This guy came out super fast to help me. He was very knowledgeable with them too! I havent had a bird in ages so im happy that he was there to help! He showed me what supplies i would need and he even gave me some background information of the bird i had selected which was wonderful! Its nice to know the employees actually care about the animals there! Very good experience today. Im happy there was more than one person willing to help me and that there was actually someone who knew what they were doing and not just trying to make a sale! The only downfall to my visit was that they hardly had any reptiles on display. Mostly just frogs.
