Very helpful. These people know their stuff. Did not try and sell me things I didn't need. They are one of the few stores in the area that have stock on a lot of parts.

Bought a wood burning fireplace insert from them over 9 months ago. Every time I went into the store I was greeted, but not hovered over. They staff that I dealt with were competent and knew what they were selling. They were able to help me to figure out what I could and could not use. The product I bought was quality. No issues with inspection or installation. They were prompt and cleaned up after themselves. When I called with a question 4 months after purchase I received support. I would deal with them again in the future and recommend them to friends and family.

Purchased a Pellet Stove February 2021, since it was getting close to the end of the season for stoves I didn't expect it to be installed right away but to my surprise a week from when I made my purchase they were out to install the stove. The installation went smoothly and the installers were very professional and did an excellent job. I couldn't be happier with the pricing, service, and installation I received. I would definitely recommend them to any of my family or friends.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Completely unprofessional and we didn't even receive an apology. We had to kick their repairman out of our house for being high while he was there to work on our gas fireplace (he admitted to us that he smoked weed and that he should have sprayed himself with cologne before coming into our home to mask the smell of marijuana). Potentially very serious and dangerous situation working on a gas line and the owner of the company downplayed it and denied what happened in our home.

I had purchased a pallet of Appalachian wood pellets for my stove a few weeks ago. The staff allowed me to come in and grab a few bags till I was able to come back with my truck. They loaded it right on my bed with the skid steer. Very friendly staff , knowledgeable and honest. These pellets have been keeping my house warm all winter. If you have any questions give them a call. If they don't have what you need. They will point you in the right direction.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS! We ordered a pellet stove in August of 2018 to be installed in October 2018. We had to call them several times to set up an install date. Finally, it happens, BUT the stove doesn't fit. They had come out to do the measurements and told us that it would fit but it doesn't. We would have to rip up 2 feet of our hardwood floors to make it happen. At this point, they have charged our credit card. They claim that they have a floor model of another brand that will work. We checked it out and it looked great so fine, that works for us. We expected them to install it asap but they didn't get it in until December 2018. On the day of install, the guys crack the side of the stove. I'm not talking like a little ding, the entire side panel of the stove has a giant crack in it. We were told that they would replace the side panel, so we let them install the stove. It has been 6 months, every time we cal (if they even answer) we are told that the panel hasn't been shipped yet. Then I called twice a few weeks ago and had to leave a message, they haven't responded. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and Buck Stove hasn't responded to them either. DO NOT SHOP HERE!

7 weeks ago I put in a deposit for a new above-ground pool liner (Less than a days work by their own estimate). At the time I was told that they do liners on sunny days, and that I should start draining my pool since I might not have much notice beforehand. Well, my pool is now a swamp and I still don't even have an install date. Calls looking for answers generally haven't been returned. At one point I got someone who seemed surprised it /had/ actually been over a month after looking at my deposit receipt. Unfortunately, this was still just followed up with the same bit about only doing them on sunny days. Ignoring of course that it's been a remarkably sunny year so far. At this point I expect that I lost my deposit, so I posted a pic of what my pool looks like. Maybe next I'll take out a billboard next to their business or something. It sure would have been nice if they had just done the work like they said they would.

I called last week to schedule an estimate for a repair and the addition of gas logs. I took the morning off and waited for the guy, but he was a no show. When I called the store, I was placed on hold for 7 minutes after which time a woman told me that she doubted very seriously that I had an appointment since they were expecting a truck this morning. I just decided to find another company. If that is any indication of their business ethic and customer service experience, I'm glad that I found out before it was too late.
