I was new to the neighborhood and needed a quick bouquet of flowers. I stopped in with a vase and tight budget and the ladies were able to quickly put together a beautiful arrangement. The shop is also filled with indoor plants and decor and I would love to go back to find something for my home.

I tried to support a local shop and visited today to buy a bouquet for MD. All they could offer was a case with 5 sad rose arrangements. The quality was awful. I got a great bouquet a Whole Foods.

Purchased a fairly priced funeral arrangement from Blance Darby florist only to find several Roses wilted. I happen to see one of the delivery drivers who had been delivering other flowers to the church that day and pointed out my observation of the flowers I had ordered, an she agreed some of the roses did not present well. she assured me she would mention it to the florist shop and they would make some type of credit. Well not only did that not happen, but I also never received a call about my concerns. My name was given to the driver who took my order number. I would not recommend this florist

How about when you have a problem with your order that you don't send an innocuous email with the subject line "Order details for order XYZ"? As that sounded like a receipt for my order (which 95% of it was), I did not notice the one line about the flowers not being available and the florist needing me to call back to make an alternate selection. How about a phone call, or an email stating "Problem with order XYZ"? Too late to fix by the time I noticed the issue.

Top-notch customer service!! I'm in the Washington, DC-area and learned today of the sudden passing of a dear friend's father in Mt. Pleasant. Even though I placed my order late in the business day, Blanche Darby Florist was able to accommodate for same-day delivery. When they arrived and my friend wasn't home, Amy called me and offered to come back and deliver the flowers at the end of their business day. And if my friend still isn't home when she stops by again later, Amy said she would be happy to try again tomorrow morning. Amy's friendliness, concern, and willingness to be of help during this sad time was so touching. Thank you, Blanche Darby Florist, for being so kind and accommodating.

These ladies work very hard. They went out of their way to ensure my surprise order was perfect. Nancy spent about an hour on the phone, and even sent a text to make sure everything went smoothly. Their product is of high quality.

My experience was awful. I ordered flowers online two days ago, paid by credit card, and received a confirmation number. However, today, on the day of the 5:00 PM viewing, I received an email at 11:22 AM stating that my order had been voided because the florist charges more that I paid. How could that happen? It was from its website and the receipt had their name on it. Not only did Blanche Darby Florist not honor the contract, it made it impossible to get more flowers at this late time. Now I am without flowers for my brothers funeral. I would not recommend this florist to anyone.
