Best place to get fast food late at night, but also the place to go if you love milkshakes and a huge variety of them. They have nearly every kind of milkshake you could possibly think of!

We spent several hours at the beach and by the time we got back to the hotel and cleaned up, most the restaurants were close to closing. A quick Google search brought up Cook Out! We have been hoping to try it but it seemed overwhelming, especially with kids. However, the experience was great! Their dining room was open until 930pm, but since it was close to that, we got ours Togo. The gal that took our order was very kind and helpful. The prices were great!! We waited a smidgen for our order, but that makes sense because their drive thru was packed and continued the entire time we were there. Each of our family of four got something different and we each enjoyed our meals. If I understood it correctly you pick a main item and then you get two sides and a drink. I got grilled chicken, onion rings, and cheese bites. Everything was delicious. If you plan on ordering a lot to go, you may want to bring your own bag and something to carry drinks because it didn't seem like they offer anything to help.

Terrible. This was the worst cook out I've ever been to. After waiting for 20 minutes for food, I approached the counter. They informed me that they put the food out already, and I must've missed it. However I was right there and checked every order that came up, which was three orders. None were mine. Bree, the m.o.d informed me how wrong I was, insinuating that it was my fault or I was lying. She got real upset when I called b.s. on her words.. She didn't offer to make it right, so I demanded a refund. My real frustration was making my daughter wait to eat.. she's 5. Im not going to keep my daughter waiting to eat..IThis place was clearly dirty, and I'm assuming understaffed. As Bree is in over her head. I'll never give patronage to this location again, and would advise all to stay away. And shame on you Bree

Why does it say it closes at 3 when the doors close at before 11pm?? People should know the last 5 HOURS are slow drive thru only. Frankly I’ve barley seen this place use anything but the drive through. I’ve written this in the 15 minutes I’ve waited to order. I don’t know how they’d make things better but honestly maybe anything At this point

OK this plase is definitely worth going to check out. But you have to be very patient! There menu is super confusing and complicated and way to many choices ! But in the end the food was really good and it was a great price! And the customer service at this particular cook out was horrible! I was told by my sister that the other ones were way better at customer service. This one also needs to fix there lighting. It was so dark in there that you couldn't tell if they were open or not and the lighting by the front desk cashier was also dark. Also the way they had there condiments was almost hidden. It took me like 5 minutes to fint the hot sauce. And when I asked for extra hot sauce they charged me for extra Quesadilla sauce and then explained that it was different then the complimentary hot sauce and then after charging me for it they never gave it to me.....all around super confusing and weird . But I'm from AZ and things out there are not so confusing....

The only reasons I am giving a 1 star is because I can't give them a negative rating. This was my first time trying this restaurant being from 900 miles away, It was the worst experience with any restaurant. The girl that took order extremely nasty over talked every chance she got and never gave me the help I needed to order properly since I was ordering for 5 people and didn't want to order too much food. I recommend jumping off a bridge in alligator infested water before going to this place. Oh and my food was made were wrong and threw in a box. I definitely hope this place closes down.

had to yell to the back that we were there. cashier was rude - no smile, no greeting. food did not taste good - pulled pork tasted rancid. Coke machine was out of syrup. every table was dirty.

Their milkshakes are legendary!! We love their food it's very affordable it's amazing quality as well as quantity. You definitely get your money's worth at cookout our family tries to go at least twice a month

The ordering here was difficult for it being our first visit. We didn't understand the menu at all, trying to get help from the cashier was almost impossible due to the plexi glass, echo in the building and the mask on her face. I was about to walk when the wife started to try ordering. Don't get anything Cajun style. Everything Cajun is latterly covered in seasoning and is horrible. We tried to get pics of the cajin frys and all the salt. We couldn't eat them.
