Having been in Foxworth on other occasions...I was ready to make a selection, purchase, and schedule an install. Was greeted immediately, and I told the young man what we needed to replace all kitchen cabinet hardware and 27 doorknobs/ hinges. Young man said he had to do some research, then came back to tell me that someone else would help me. That person walked by and said that she would be right with me. So, I patiently looked around, walking by her twice. The young man disappeared, and another work staff did not offer any help. After 25 minutes, as the female sales person/owner continued a social conversation with someone about topics not related to hardware...I got the message, and left. No problem waiting while she talked to someone, but she could have at least acknowledged that I was still waiting. No other customers were in the store at that time.

Great experience @ FOXW. I bought pieces online from others with near prohibitive shipping and or restock costs. It's better to shop local, see first hand, touch / feel the hardware. Even high end online items don't show well online, thus it's better in person to see finishes & colors. Excellent install advice and staff went through self install process, mindful of the unexpected. Great selection, very nice showroom.

When I was building my house several years ago, I purchased all my hardware from Foxworth. They gave me great advice on both the door hardware and cabinet pulls. We used several different designs in three adjacent rooms and it turned out beautifully. Recently, I had a crisis on a Friday afternoon with the lock on my front door while I was out of the country. Foxworth immediately went into action getting a key made so that my pet sitter and I could get in. That is great service. You can’t put a price on peace of mind!

After having good experiences in the past I would much prefer to write a positive review but unfortunately after yesterday’s ugly episode I regret I must share a most negative review. Christine, the owner of the store, verbally attacked me and was in my face with her smoky breath because I was in her store looking and not purchasing. After spending thousands of dollars at Foxworth in the past and intending to do so again in the near future I didn’t think it would be that big a deal but apparently it was with her. Totally unacceptable. Thanks for the tip, Christine. I’m going to Bird.

I had a close friend work with them on a project recently. Their lack of attention to detail, and overall unwillingness to complete the work as agreed upon is unacceptable. To do a poor job and own up to it is one thing, to do a poor job, deny that you’ve done so, not offer to make things right and then move on without any attempt at good old fashioned customer service is basically criminal. I wouldn’t recommend them to ISIS.

Horrible customer service. DO NOT USE this company to install hardware. Their contractors are horrible and they do not stand behind their work. Truly disappointed in this local company, as we thought we were dealing with honest people.
