The prices are more expensive than Walmart but they have better selection and not near as sold out of everything like Walmart seems to be 9 times out of 10. However, the prices are higher, so I give it 3/5.

Worst foodcity it the area. Customer service is 50/50 & this locations moto should be "uhh" because that's the 1st thing you'll hear if you ask anyone a question. Furthermore the produce department sucks and usually mostly rotten. It was so bad a previous produce employee would go around bragging that anyone that bought produce there while he worked ate his privates cause he rubbed it on everything that was in the stock room. The ONLY thing I try to buy here is bottled drinks & dog food.

I know it is not the retailers fault for stock, or lack there of, but I must admit that I have been very disappointed at the state of their produce. When you pay extra for fresh foods, you want high quality. I haven't seen high quality at a Food City in a very long while.

Always has the absolute freshest fruits, even out of season they keep honey dew and cantaloupe and water melon. And if you've never ventured out and got a taste of the Honey crisp apple, prepare yourself because wherever you go it's going to be one of the more expensive apples per pound and probably the most expensive if it's any of the local shops, Ingles, Walmart, Kroger and what ever. But I would almost bet you the cost of said apple if you didn't just think it the best ever

Stop to pick up some local grown strawberries. $5 for quart. They were sweet and no waste. Glad FC buys from our local farmers.

I had to use the restroom while I was there & I was so disappointed that the lock on the stall was broken - primarily because I almost walked in on someone in the stall! It overshadowed the rest of my visit entirely!! With the lock not working, the store should have blocked access to the stall.

Well stocked helpful staff not hard to find someone to help if needed rare now a DAYS always shop at food City and priceless I like the store very clean nice staff best grocers in this area

I found several EXPIRED items on the shelves, mainly sauces,but others as well. It's obvious that the stock people are not rotating the inventory or are just ignorant of shelf life. MEATs looked good, so did produce, liquor, and baked goods.
