Brought my 77yo grandmother to get a perm. She had been here the last time for her perm. We were given one price over the phone, then when we arrived that price was $20 more. When asking about the price difference, the woman claimed we never asked and that she never did my grandmother’s hair when she is and has been the only woman that does perms in the salon. In addition to the last minute price change, she was aggressive and pulling my grandmother’s hair. After asking her to be more gentle, the woman said it was because her was dry. Rather than being respectful and courteous, she was disrespectful, rude, and impatient. My friends and family will no longer receive services here. If you can’t provide bare minimum decent customer service to an elderly woman, how pathetic are your employees? Services: Hair coloring, Haircut

Worst haircut experience of my life! When the girl was done I checked the bottom and saw that it was not blended from top to bottom at ALL and had a LOT of uneven areas. It looked horrible! I couldn't believe my eyes. I pointed them out and asked her to try and fix it. She used a comb and clipper with NO guard but that only lead to a shorter cut. There was no blend from the bottom to the top and I finally had to tell her to stop and asked for someone else to take over. Another girl jumped from one client to me right away and used her scissors to fix my hair. When she was done, I had to point out AGAIN that the right side was longer than the left. I kept my cool but could not believe what was happening. I went to Super Cuts right after where a girl pointed out even more problems with the haircut. I hope management can make this right.

Edit: The Experience Stylists have left this salon. I will not be coming back as I got a less than subpar shampoo and conditioner. She didn't get all of my hair wet, first of all. I had to tell her to get the hair near the back of my neck. And when she put the conditioner on, she immediately rinsed it out... What the heck? Does she not know you're supposed to let conditioner sit for at least a few minutes? Was she trying to get done with me as fast as possible to get to the next client? Is she super micro-managed and will get yelled at if she actually takes her time with a customer? I have no idea. Don't care. I am not coming back here.

Unbelievable People working here!!! I called today to get mines and my boyfriend haircuts and I explain to them couple days before I going to show up, that I’m American-Panamanian and I also needed a wash and my hair to be blow dry because my hair is different from other people! They said yes it’s fine????.. When I got there, This woman said she can’t do my hair because it’s knotted and if you wash it and comb it out it won’t be normal... 1. HOW YOU GOING TO ME ABOUT MY HAIR I KNOW MY OWN DAMN HAIR. 2. THEY SAID I CAN COME BETWEEN ANYTIME BEFORE 7:30PM.. We showed up like 6:50ish almost 7pm and she said we took too long and it would take hours and she don’t have time. But they close at 8pm and The weather Bad Tonight SOOO NEVER WOULD DO BUSINESS HERE BECAUSE THEY HIRE PEOPLE WHO GOING MESS UP YOUR HAIR BECAUSE THEY DOING IT FOR THE MONEY!!! - Janelis Sealey & Adam

I understand I was kind of ignorant to walk in with no appointment on a Thursday. When I was told there was a wait, I asked how long. I was told 30 to 35 minutes. I also asked how many people but that question was glossed over. As I waited, more and more folks walked in with an appointment already scheduled. This was irritating since I had asked about the sheer numbers but was not given an answer. After waiting 50 plus minutes, I was told I was next, she just needed to sweep. Moments later, I was invited to take a seat for a haircut. It was then that the other lady cutting hair announced that Tim was next, not I. He probably was actually next, as he had to leave and come back earlier when they were too busy. However, I wasted an hour of my day waiting for a haircut that was never to come because no one has all the time in the world wait. Customer service is deal breaker when you waste people's time, whether through incompetence of time estimation or purposeful deceit to squeeze in one more tip.

I usually have pretty decent luck with the cuts I've had here, but I was not at all happy with my latest experience. Valentina basically just cut my hair straight across the back, no shaping or blending of the layers into the new length, and she was so abrasive that I just got out of there as soon as I could. Her "small talk," was offensive, and she has no tact. I will be calling to see if I can get someone else to complete my haircut, because what I have now looks awful and has no shape. She had the gall to tell me that she was really "particular" about her cuts. Addendum: When I did call about this, before I could even complete my sentence I was cut off and told to call back when the manager is there. Maybe they need to hire some people with manners. I agree with most of the other reviewers, that Sylvia does a good job...wish she would have been there when I last came in.

I had my highlights done by Silvia this week and my hair looks amazing! She also did a new style (lots of layers), and used some products that made my old tired hair look shiny and full. I'm ever changing my color, so that's a huge accomplishment! I decided to add some lighter highlights and darker lowlights and it came out beautiful and natural looking. So happy every time I look in the mirror (even when I wake up it looks good!) Thanks Silvia!

My husband and I go to this Cost Cutters every time we need a haircut. We have a stylist that we really like there. The service is fast. They just prefer that you call in at least 30 minutes in advance so that they can put you down on the list. As long as you can describe what you want done to your hair in detail, most of the stylists there are skilled and can perform to your liking. Of course, if you come and just say you want a cut, then don't expect it to be exactly the way you want it! These girls are artists after all, and they will do what they think looks best.
