Not good food for me. Dry and no flavor

Had lunch at this small restaurant (behind the Chevron gas station) for some authentic Mexican cuisine. The food was delicious and far exceeded our expectations! All of the meats (Carnitas, Barbacoa, Pastor and shredded chicken in the Chile Rellenos) were well cooked, soft & full of flavor. Our servers were happy to serve us and made our experience of their restaurant a memorable one! Had a warm crispy churro for dessert. Will have to go back for more 😊 And we did go back for more! This time we had some horchata and tried the Entomatadas plate, Pollo a la mexicana plate and the chimichanga plate. Everything was sooo good!!! 😋

Stopped here for lunch around 1:30 pm on a Thursday. The staff, while not rude, just wasn't very friendly/welcoming. The barbacoa was overcooked, dry, fatty, and bland. I immediately got a stomach ache even though I normally have an iron stomach. I don't know if it was their tacos or a salad I had later that day from a grocery store, but I was very sick the next morning and for the following 9 days.

OMG don't get breakfast tacos from there! Disgusting! I went there for the first time Saturday April 23/22 I ordered 3 tacos 2 potato and egg and 1 bacon and egg. Ok when you open the taco to put salsa on and the eggs are brown from being so over cooked than rt away we have problems. I decided to try it anyway since I did pay about $12 for them. Anyway actually we're the worst tacos I've ever had! The potato and egg were the same but worse. The potato were so big it was actually like they cut the potato in 1/4 and put into a taco. Burnt eggs again. I did not eat the potato and egg I actually gave them to my chickens. The tortillas are also store bought both corn and flour. I don't know about the other food there but stay away from the breakfast tacos!

It's now Double Dave's Pizza. Great staff, limited indoor seating, but, at least it's open. Not like California and New York City, still killing the restaurant industry.

I went to visit my fiancé at work for his lunch since I had the day off. We went to this little spot based off the reviews and y’all failed us (which is very rare). My Gordita was meh. My agua fresca was ok. This place was not memorable. The food was very bland. I kept finding bones in my Gordita. So be very careful. I doubt I’ll ever go again. Very friendly service.
