Second time I tried scheduling for a COVID booster and I called the number attached to the store, was told it was in stock. I get to the pharmacy and they said it isn't in stock and a call center handles their store calls and does not know if they have the booster in stock or not. Clear communication with the customer is not set and either the store or the region needs to change that.

Terrible place that steadily declined shortly after we started going here. Aside from a couple pharmacists the staff is very rude, openly judgemental about your personal medications and incorrect with refill dates (just had 3 employees tell me and my wife 3 different refill dates) It is a sad disappointment and these people need to be investigated ASAP. They harass their customers as well.

I have been coming to this location literally since I was a child. But tonight, June 5, 2022 roughly 1:15am, was the first time I’ve ever felt alienated at a store that over the years has gotten thousands of dollars from me. I hate large consumer maze’s such as Walmart or Costco or who ever! That is why I do the majority of my shopping needs, such as hygiene, hair care products, medical prescriptions , etc, at Walgreens. I love it but tonight was the first time I thought of leaving and going across the street to the neighborhood Walmart. I came to the store to purchase Benadryl. My allergies have been insane lately and I ran out of mine. The cashier, and please I won’t mention names, seemed to not know what HE was doing. The customer in front of me was trying to pay not realize that it was a chip reader. So swiping away and away and again away before th GENTLEMAN at the register suggested the chip reader. Ok so being in the service and retail business, I have a very good understanding on how the POS(point of sale) works. So swiping your debit, credit card or whatever so many times, if the security protocol is any good, would register all those attempts as suspicious. Low and behold the POS freezes , with me standing next in line with my Twix ice cream melting. The employees training was inadequate in my opinion. Both this technical skill and customer service skill. Finally the manager tells the employee to go to another register. Now I’ve been here longer than efficiency stands for. The purchase is finally made!! Close to fifteen minutes later. My turn. Ok I said before my allergies have been terrible so I’m there really to just purchase the medication but I always seem to walk out with more than I intended. The cashier rings my medication and asks, may I see your ID? What??? For what? Then he explains to me that is for the Benadryl. 😳 Listen, I’m 37 years old and I’ve never ever been asked that before for an over the counter medication. Let alone Benadryl. The employee starts to get rude with me for questioning that. I’m not opposed to showing my ID but in the 21st century, I hardly carry a wallet around and my ID is usually in the car and I pay with apple pay . The inconvenience was something so shocking that I felt the need to review this store( my store). I nearly walked out. The service from this particular employee needs some work. Whatever though. I’ll most likely still come in because I’m very big on brand loyalty. The ruler’s of Walgreens please take note.

Pharmacy is for medication purchase not making change and regular purchases while people are waiting to get their medicine. Maybe that’s something that should be kept in mind at this store. There is a register at the front for purchases ya, because people actually need medication from the pharmacy and not to wait in line for ppl to do their grocery shopping check out here!

Took my son to the bathroom and a worker was throwing up in the next stall. We couldn’t use the other stall because it was backed up with feces and broken. Proceeded to the men’s bathroom and it was absolutely disgusting. They can definitely afford to hire professional cleaners to clean the bathrooms. I don’t think anyone has mopped in awhile. Someone should report them to OSHA.

The ladies and gentlemen who provide service at this location are absolutely Angels! No matter how busy they are, they are always pleasant to their customers. I’ve been pretty sick for about 6 years and Moved around and used a lot of different pharmacies this Walgreens at Bedford Road and Central is hands-down the best Walgreens around!! Thank you guys for being so patient with everyone.

Walgreens said they did not have my medication and did not know when they might have it. The woman told me if I needed it I COULD CALL AROUND TO OTHER WALGREENS to see if they had it or check with other pharmacies to see if they did. She really didn’t care. I called Walmart a cross the street and they had it and asked how quick I needed it, Walmart to the rescue. I will not be bothering Walgreens any more.
