This clinic provides good care for your pet, however, if they prescribe a medication for your animal I recommend you get the script and have it filled elsewhere: we were charged approximately three times the going rate for a very common nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicine for our dog (Rimadyl/Carprofen), and this medicine, which has been on the market for over 40 years, is widely available in generic formulation at a fraction of the cost of the trade variety. Upon questioning about the price, no legitimate reason was provided for the ridiculous mark up.

After a horrible experience with foothills veterinary clinic, I called them after foothills called to reschedule me for like the 5th time and explained my situation because one of my cats was already a week late for his rabies, and even though it was a surgery-only day they got me in at 2pm after I called at 10am. It was about a 40 minute wait before I was seen - but I was completely okay with that because they didn’t have to fit me in at all. They were very professional and kind and as gentle as possible with my cats and as one of them is a very anxious cat, they did an amazing job. For all the 3 vaccines and exam for my cat that needed everything it was 99, and for the exam and 2 shots and rabies city license for my other cat it was 82, which is a good price as getting shots separately at another vet is anywhere from 30-45$ per shot. They definitely have a customer for as long as I’m in el paso, and they earned themselves 3 cats with their amazing & professional care.

We have taken all 4 of our pets here and we LOVE Dr. Zarges. She’s so sweet and understanding and professional and very thorough. Takes her time to listen to your concerns. We went through 4 other vets before we found Dr. Zarges and we are done searching. We found a home with her. Our dog was hurt last year and lost function in two legs and she suggested cold laser therapy and it helped tremendously and more he runs and jumps like he used to.

My family and I used to go with the Zarges Animal Clinic Staff. Most members are kind and helpful. They give you free coffee and biscottis. Prices used to be low years ago. Today, prices are going up. Yikes! Not just with them...but other vets. Today...I called to ask how much to spay and neuter my cats...a lady staff member hung up on me...put me on hold with music...finally answered...was super-rude and snobby on the phone... They just lost a customer. ☹

My husband and I went for an urgent visit. The office staff is absolutely wonderful. London was our vet tech and you can tell he loves his job by how gentle and loving he is with animals. Dr. Zarges was kind, compassionate, thorough, and explained everything we were having done. Our dog loved everyone there and that is a huge reflection of how fantastic they are.

We called as our regular veterinarian was out of town, and they took us immediately as our dog was having trouble with an eye. The entire staff was very concerned and helpful. Dr. Zagres was amazing and Barkley is already better. We were so impressed by their care, we are we are thinking of moving our other animals to Dr. Zarges for their care.

I'm writing this review to let Everyone know this is a wonderful animal clinic. We bring Our dogs here. We know they're in the Best Care. We had Our loving cat put to sleep, due to health problems several years back. My Mom and I cried in the room, they respected and allowed us to grieve. They weren't in no means ready to dismiss us. We've been going to Dr. Zarges since I was young with our pets. Dr. Zarges has retired and her daughter's taken over her practice. She's the most caring, down to earth person, you'll ever meet. Her staff are also just as caring and loving as Dr. Zarges. These people are genuine, with Good hearts. They welcome you and your pet(s) with open arms and make you feel right at home. I appreciate them so Much I made each staff member and Dr. Zarges Halloween candy bags, and look forward to doing something for them for Christmas!🎄 ♥️ 🐕 🐈 Rose P.

I couldn't get into a single vet's office in Las Cruces back in April 2021. Many were booked out til July. I called Zarges and they were able to get me in very quickly. The staff is amazing–professional and kind. My cat, Ham loves Zarges! Best vet's office in my experience.

They got my fur baby all better quick. Very reasonable prices, excellent staff, very polite and professional. I highly recommend this place. My Pomeranian was back to health the same day!
