Phenomenal place to bring your pets!!! Best thing, it’s not affiliated with a pet smart! Front office staff amazing on phone and in person. I got to go back into a room with my pet this morning. They discussed the treatment plan before and after! I felt so much at ease for the first time in 2 years since trying Banfield (inside pet smarts) in both Allen and McKinney, where those Banfield’s are terrible and it’s unfortunate they have them in pets mart! Anyway, Banfield Frisco is the best!!! Thank you guys for taking good care of our Willow and putting us at ease, you guys made my family’s day! Great staff. Love that we met with the doctor! Loved we got to back with her and it felt like they truly care about our pets! Last pic was me in the patient room with Willow!

I trust this Banfield location with the care of both of my boys. They have always treated us kindly since day one. I feel that the entire staff works together to ensure the proper care for each animal. Hats off to the team for all that they do!!!!

I’ve been to another Banfield location and honestly had lost confidence in the Banfield name. After switching to this location this past year, I’m feeling hopeful. Front staff is efficient. I really appreciate Maria calling after every comprehensive and sick visits to check on how our pup is doing. The gentleman with the glasses is pretty good at multitasking/keeping the lines moving. Vet tech interactions are more transactional. They’re willing to talk to you and relay messages/defer to the vet without pushback. One young lady was able to explain to me what a blood smear was, which was helpful. And finally, Dr. Jon McClain is the most calming and knowledgeable veterinarian. I feel safe and heard by him and really appreciate his willingness to be thorough. He doesn’t push for you to make a decision and is good at being collaborative with pet parents on what they feel comfortable doing for their pet’s wellbeing. He’s realistic and good with pets and pet parents alike. Really thankful.

Took my dog to the vet for the first time in 4 years (don't judge me!) And the staff at Banfield was amazing. This is a stand alone location, not inside a PetSmart. The reception staff, the vet tech, and the doctor were all amazing. Once Leo went back he was gone for only 15 minutes and in that time got all his shots and blood work and was back to me all ready to go. They have three optimum wellness plans that cover the visit, shots, and an add-on gives you flea, tick, and heartworm medication all for a monthly membership that is affordable and convenient. If you're looking for a vet where the staff is super-friendly, the doctor is informative and speaks to you, not at you and does so in easy to understand language, then this Banfield location is the one for you.

May 1, 2017, I brought my little Max, a 14 yo doxie that woke up paralyzed in 3 paws. Even he knew it was time to go. I know that a dog has one wish in life. To be held and look into the eyes of their life long friend. Well Dr. Bobo took him in the back to set the IV. I was shocked that he gave Max “relaxing” meds. Well his eyes were glassy and he didn’t recognize me. Dr. Bobo, stole my best friends lifelong wish. I’m glad he’s almost gone. I still want to give him my 2 cents on his No professional end of life care. Looking forward to a new vet.

Not happy with the front desk personnel at this vet. I chose this vet because it's within walking distance of my house. The vet diagnosed my dog with a hormone-based bladder issue and prescribed her proin. The medicine has helped her, and we have seen reduced problems related to the health issue. But, the first time I came to get a refill I was told by a young woman in her early twenties (about my age, complaining about school work, and very obviously focused on things other than her job as she was highly vocal with the other female at the front desk) that they didn't have more than two weeks worth of medication to send with us and that I would receive a call when they got more in. The call never came. So, today I go in and there is a woman (the same one the girl I just described was talking to) and a young male in his twenties. The woman was speaking with a different customer, and rather than greeting - or even simply acknowledging me - the man interjected into their conversation and paid attention to their interaction for minutes. He finally looks at me and asks what I need. I tell him I need a medication refill for my dog and give him my phone number. He asks what medication she needs, though there is only one medicine on her file. So, I state that, and he says the vet is not in and that the medication is in a closed cabinet. He goes away and then comes back shortly after and says proin is not in the cabinet and that I need to order it from Chewy or go to a different Banfield. I asked how it would work for me to order it through Chewy and how long it would take for Banfield to approve the request and he says he doesn't know. Proin is not a rare medication - why does your business consistently have issues with keeping it stocked? And where are you hiring the front desk personnel from? Because they lack customer service and basic interaction skills.

Staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They provided lots of treatment options and treated "Gunner" with care that was genuine. They even did a follow up phone call the next day to see how Gunner was feeling. :)

Good vet, spotty boarding capability. My dog was covered in her own feces when I picked her up. We even called to let them know we were 15 min away. You would think they would check prior to releasing back to us. No apology or anything when we called to demonstrate our displeasure.
