Visited this Costco to grab a beverage from the food court and to see if it compares to the our in New Orleans. The food court is indoors and the there is a separate store attached to it for spirits, though Costco still sells wine in the store. I did not encounter any staff less the cashier in the food court. He was a great worker and on his job! I dislike the food court being indoors. But overall, it is a similar Costco that I’d visit again.

Worst Costco in Houston Metro. I have been a 13 year Costco member and never experienced such poor service. The employees act like you should be grateful to shop at this location. Today while i was self checking out this employee just starts scanning and forgot to scan an item. The exit employee pointed out the missing item and asked me to return to the checkout line for a rescan. Since the lines were long and the store crowded I asked the employee at the returns and membership counter to help me. She said she cannot help, so i asked if she expects me to meander through a crowded line with my cart for their mistake. Her response was I did not make this mistake. So I asked to speak to the manager which did not get me anywhere as she was dismissive and defensive. She then takes me to this random terminal nearby to check me out. I still do not know why they cannot do this at the returns counter as it is closer to the exit. COSTCO EXECUTIVES train your managers at this location on how treat customers and better manage this store as their customer service skills are appalling. I have always been a fan of Costco I just hope that management does not forget that it's their customers who have made the company what it is today and let their success get to their heads.

Always find something new, a bit crowded on weekends. Fresh fruit and great value meat cuts. Very little vegan options. Plenty of snack selections. 1,50 all beef hot dogs 🌭 are a must.

By this being my first time coming to Costco I was expecting to have a good experience!!!! Unfortunately I didn’t you have some employees that are rude with no customer services skills….. the lady that stand infront the main entrance attitude is just beyond rude. Me and my husband was going to become Costco member’s we both decided not to so instead we went to their (food court) the customer services was great and they have it were you can pay get a ticket and wait for your order number to be called…..The food was great

Traffic! It's horrendous!!! There's not a single moment that this location is not busy and PACKED! I'm almost certain some of the customers sleep in the parking lot or something! When I come at open it's packed. When I come around lunch it's even more packed. When I come near closing, it's twice as packed. Over exaggerating here, but sometimes feels like you have to park at best buy to be able to shop here sometimes. People drive like maniacs here too!

What can I say, Costco is just being Costco. Delivering on quality and value all the time! Our favorite shopping spot for groceries and all kinds of supplies. Buying in bulk just saves you so much money and time. Costco’s getting busier since the gas price hike. People lining up the parking lot for gas is surreal. Help yourself by going during weekdays at off peak hours.

Update 11/4/21: Let me start off by saying, overall, I love Costco and the way they treat their employees. But, the location at 1150 Bunker Hill Rd, Houston, TX 77055 continues to be the most poorly managed store in the entire Costco chain in the greater Houston area as I shop at all of the Costco's in the Houston area as they all have slightly different stocked items. Was just there Friday evening and the manager on duty, as per usual in the evenings reduces check out lanes to only 3-5. It is usually very busy in the evenings and Friday was no exception. The excessively limited open check-out lanes unnecessarily created lines all the way to the middle of the store. In a friendly and courteous manner, I requested from a manager extra help in check-out. As per usual and from past experience, this manager was immediately on defense and had a noticeably negative attitude from my friendly request. Am confused as to why this location continues to 'ration' customer service at check-out and in returns. The only thing I can think of is that this was one of the first stores in the area to install self check-out and this is an experiment gone wrong at this location. Or, managers don't like the self-checkout lanes and are attempting to scuttle the concept as it must come at a loss of a few employee check out positions. Also, it's obvious manager reduces staff to only one employee working returns at around 7:00 - 7:30 p.m. And, the poor lone returns employee that is unfortunate and unfairly placed into a situation to face this continuously growing line of customers is also attempting to reconcile all returns with individual return slips for each item in what appears to be an attempt to possibly leave early or right at closing time, which it's 8:30 p.m. for this location. Am aware of this technic as I've been in retail myself. Gasoline station occasionally doesn't open at 6:00 a.m. as their employees don't always show up for work. I can see now, after speaking to several employees and the new store director at this location that they're attempting to normalize this sort of behavior as there's never a commitment to ensure this never happens again. Can't believe this is the way they do business. It can't be for a lack of employees that desire to work there. There are people lined up waiting to get jobs at Costco and Sam's Clubs. Heck, I'd work there, but I'd never consider working at this location. When is corporate going to fix the issues that seem to only plague this store? Am challenging Costco corporate to get better management at this store and get rid of confrontational employees and managers. Please!
