Nice selection and variety of pieces in every category. I particularly enjoyed the high end furniture upstairs. Was able to find options for pieces I sought. Did make a purchase. Positive experience. Asked for delayed delivery & they were able to delay 2 weeks.

I have never felt so pressured by a salesperson in my life. My partner and I entered and made it very clear that we were not ready or able to make a purchase that day. Our salesperson apparently ignored us and pressured us to look at items far outside our budget. We spent nearly two hours listening to sales pitches for things we were never going to buy When it came time for the "sale" and we once again confirmed that we were not there to make a purchase that day, the sales associate became visibly frustrated and tried to argue with us about what we were even doing there. By the time we asserted ourselves and left he acted like a petulant child, avoiding eye contact. I'm not naming their name because I get the impression that this is the kind of behavior Star Furniture promotes in their employees. I'm going to be following up with the store manager to ask about their workplace culture. What I saw that day was gross. Leaving two stars because at least the couch they showed us was pretty comfortable

She was so helpful and remembered everything we previously looked at.we will definitely ask for her for any future purchases. I have bought from Star in the past and always find what I want there. Sales representative- Linda was very helpful. I told her exactly what i was looking for and she directed us to the sectional choices that met our needs. (I will say too i was pleasantly surprised that Star had our item in stock and will be shipping our sectional a lot sooner than i could find at other big box stores).

We were driving by and needed a mattress. They had 30% off for a quality mattress. I know you can get it almost half price at Walmart or Amazon. But not this quality that would last for more than a decade if not 2. They had live entertainment, Elvis Presley's. Freshly baked cookies and coffee. Balloons and face painting for the kids. One of the sales gifted my daughter a book she liked. We will definitely recommend and come back.

Super bad experience with Starfurniture. Most of furnitures delivered to my house is either missing bolts or broken. Called for exchange then something broke again. At this point, i do not want to do any bussiness with them anymore as they ignored my email.

Visited the Star Furniture location in Katy today and found a coffee table I liked. Confirmed with salesman (Tim Nelson) that the price was 30% off of the tagged price. Took my wife back later to let her see it before purchase as it was a floor model and all sales are final. We get there, start the purchase process, suddenly it's not 30% off because it's a floor model. The 30% off advertisement is sitting on top of the table I'm wanting to buy, but the 30% off isn't available on that selection because it's a floor model. WHY IS THE SIGN THERE ADVERTISING THE DISCOUNT THEN????? Note the large purple sign on top of the table... Me: I verified with the salesperson that the price was the tag price minus 30%. Manager: Well, he's new and he made a mistake. Me: That's not my problem. That's your problem. Are you going to honor his mistake? Manager: I can go an extra 10% off even though I'm not supposed to. Me: No thanks. You just lost all of our business.
