This is THE BEST veterinarian clinic around. Dr. Holt and staff were very knowledgeable, caring and compassionate to both my dog and I. I will definitely be going back with all my fur babies in the future.

Long story short. They only care about the money. They didn't fix my cat and I had to go to another vet to get her taken care of. With lost wages and two vet bills over 1500$ for something that should have been a few stitches. I will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

They always do such an amazing job with my fur babies! And their costs are much more reasonable than some of the other vets we've gone to.

Extremely happy with my experience here. Dr. Holt is very caring and compassionate when dealing with all animals. I personally feel she is the best small animal veterinarian in east Texas. This is who I recommend for all animal care!!

I called the clinic to ask them to turn off the constant bombardment of texts and letters only to be met with “well you could have called.” That would be correct ma’am hence why I’m speaking with you on the phone… you’re a receptionist at a vet clinic and clearly not a very bright one…

First time for going there. So I dont have enough information to accurately rate this office. However, my reasoning for choosing HSV is rather simple. 7:45 am on a Friday on my way to work I pass a little body on the side of the road.(fm250) of course I stop, jumping forward, I called the closest animal hospital they didnt answer, called the next closest, I explained the situation giving all pertinant infirmation need to get work - found a very young puppy on the highway need to get it help, its NOT doing well, while I'm driving the pup is in my lap, the people tell me oh the DR. doesn't come in till 9am. They start drilling me with unnecessary questions- what is my address, what's its name girl or boy blah bkah !!! Then the Dr. had appointments but we can make you an appointment! Ugh- I hung up and the next closest was Hughes Springs, they, right off the bat are kindly, caring listening, didnt ask questions thst they can ask once I arrived safely- I get there, they accommodate the suffering pup right away ; in front of others that have appointments. NOT BECAUSE OF BEING LATE TO WORK - but because the PUP was an EMERGENCY situation. They all pulled together, including the Dr. to treat the poor little one- and did all they could as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, the 10 week old hound puppy did not make it. I didnt know her, but I named her, Trooper Tew- they consulted me with each step or procedure. They did not try to gouge me, and rack up a large bill - they appeared to be very honest & forth coming about everything. The Dr. believed she had internal injuries, possibly from being hit by a car or something. We really didnt know. But, what killed her was her anemia due to fleas & ticks & being such a young stray with no medical attention who knows what all she had. They, the entire staff were very caring & respectful. Giving me options on how to move forward with her. All options, and prices. I elected to take her with me & decided to bury her in my yard.( it was the least expensive) They put her in a nice box wrapped in heavy fluid resistant paper. The whole visit was less than an hour. But, what struck me most about the staff, was the consideration and compassion they showed while having respect for everyone- animals & clients - on the phone or in the office. So naturally I will take my own dog there, and my 3 kittens. Since I am very new to the area & had not yet found Vet. With that being the case, I would recommend this animal hospital to anyone.
