They refused to fill one of my prescriptions bc it is a controlled substance, even though they had filled it before at least a half dozen times!! The pharmacist (Artin) was very rude to me and treated me like I am a dopehead bc I needed my medication! The reason for not filling it was that my doctor is a Telehealth doctor and he acted like he’s basically not a real doctor!! He said they have a policy that if the doctor is not within a one hour radius of the pharmacy that they do not fill prescriptions from doctors outside of that radius. I had four other prescriptions from the same doctor and they were willing to fill those four but not my medication to keep me from having seizures. I honestly felt like he was lying to me because of the fact that he was willing to fill the other prescriptions just not this one! Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service and I will NEVER use them again!!! I am also going to report this to whatever agency is over pharmacies in the state of Texas because this is complete discrimination! I highly advise not to use this pharmacy!

I've been using this pharmacy for at least two years, and hadn't had any issues before now. My son's doctor sent in a refill on the 14th. The pharmacy notified me the same day, via their text messaging system, that it would be filled by the 15th at 3:00pm. I generally pick the prescription up within a few days of being filled, which is what I tried to do today, the 18th. But when I tried to pick it up, I was informed that it would be out of stock until the 22nd. No call, no text message to inform me that the medication was out of stock, and no apology. I wouldn't have minded so much if they had let me know within a reasonable amount of time, but they didn't inform me at all, until I went in person to pick it up. Now I have 24 hours to find another pharmacy, before he misses a dose. Unacceptable, in my opinion.

I came in needed quick refill for my sick Wife... there were some issues with the prescription given by my doctor. Linda took care of me. My medication was ready even before I finished shopping for small items in the store. Last time an ISSUE like this happen, I was had to wait 2 hours at Costco.

I literally was at my doctors on the phone with Walmart pharmacy knowing I was about to get my meds refilled just to prove that walmarts pharmacy wouldn't refill them when they WERE up for a refill, approved by my doctor and everything. The POS on the phone claiming to be a pharmacist told me and my doctor "this is not up for debate. You cannot have your medicine refilled today" This place deserves an underwear's skidmark and should have to pay for a Google star.

I love my Walmart pharmacy,, they gladly accept my discount cards,, and the on line reminders are great if I forget to order,, I can pay with my phone and have someone else pick up my scripts if I need them to. They have every feature of any other pharmacy and they execute it well.

If I could give negative stars I would. There is always an issue when getting a prescription filled.....it never goes smoothly. Too many issues to mention. Save yourself some frustration and just go elsewhere.

Worse place to get medications filled, it seriously couldn't be any slower, staff continuously lies to you telling you they are working on your prescription but if it takes 1 hour to fill one bottle of antibiotics then there's seriously a problem! Definitely sticking to brookshire brothers pharmacy!
