Have been having all of my vehicle serviced here for the last 17 years. Mike who owned the shop at that time as always, always, done a fabulous job! Recently had brakes done by the new owners. Driving home after picking up my truck the brakes froze up. Called and told them my brakes were freezing up and that I was on the side of the road with smoke coming off of my wheel called and told them my brakes were freezing up and that I was on the side of the road. Not knowing at the time whether it was front or back them just replacing the front said to me we didn’t touch the back. No we are sorry bring it back up will take a look nothing. Even brought them the brake pads and it still cost me $280. I was a little thrown back! Left the car there for the last three days do you have warranty work done on the air-conditioner which was replaced a couple years ago and I’m still having problems with. But to also have them go back over the break job they did and fix the problem. Without them calling and telling me anything I go to pick up my vehicle and to leave I had to pay them $229. Supposedly replacing things that got messed up because The brakes got way too hot. Don’t know how that was our problem. If you want to be bent over go ahead and take your vehicle there . It’s too bad that Mike sold his awesome business to someone who is destroying it

I had moved back home and was in search for a honest and trustworthy place to take my vehicles to get serviced and repaired. I had tried a few other places in Kaufman and I will just say I was not a happy customer. I was told very positive things about Double S and headed straight there with my vehicle. I was very happy with their service and overall attitude there! Mike is always so kind and knowledgeable. They are true to their word and make an HONEST living! I never feel like they are overpricing or trying to make things more than what they are for the sake of getting more money. They are THE place to go to in the Kaufman area if you need any car repair or a simple oil change! HIGHLY recommend!

They were working on my husband's truck and when we went to pick his truck up my serpentine belt was about to break and it was past their closing time and they stayed late and fix my truck and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. These guys are honest and very friendly and go above and beyond to make sure things are working properly
