Purchase a bat for my daughter. Only 1 register was opened. Probably had about a 15 minute wait to checkout because of this.

Got help when needed, I was in a hurry, and found both items I had researched first online. And they honored the lower online price. Fast checkout as well, with a courteous and smiling young person. A refreshing experience. I love that location.

I like academy, but they have a problem keeping there inventory organized. Finally found my size in what i need but wrong color and decided to order for store pickup. When asked for that, Ashley who was doing the transaction, said they would just ship to me directly. But didn't mention the delivery fee and I didn't see it untill i got a printout of my receipt. When asked her about it, she said they didn't have it available instore, but when i looked on line, myself, they did have ship to store for pickup. For free. *She might be confused about available in store and available for ship to store for in store pick up, I don't know. **Side note, asking about applying for an instore credit card once is your job, 3 times is badgering.

They had what i needed but was pricey. Was impressed by how many selections the have in shoes. " The Nike in the photo is from the ladies section" The other photos are from the men's section. I didn't purchase anything when I went but will go back in the next few weeks to see if they have my size.

Academy is usually a fairly good place. The prices are about standard and lower for somethings. Today we had the great pleasure of having Cathy at the customer service desk. She is amazing. We will definitely be back because of Cathy. She's the best.

Ties before Christmas,Wow, talk about poor customer service and poor management over 50 people in line and 2 registers open . The manager refused to put anyone else on the registers “ we are too busy” as of seen at least 10 employees doing nothing..

Hey everybody just wanted to give a shout out to Academy Sports in Lewisville. So if you need anything sports wise Academy has it and they’re all really good. I went there today and found what I was looking for and one of the guys that helped me (his name was Jeff) was very very helpful. He went out of his way to check some other stores for another product I was looking for, he wasn’t in a hurry didn’t seem bothered by it at all and in fact he actually said this is what we’re here for to find you what you’re looking for so you’ll be happy that’s that’s our job so I just want to give a shout out to him. If you’re in that area and you go to the Academy just ask for Jeff and he’ll be sure and take care of you. Everybody have a great day and stay safe out there.
