Came in to pay off a car and provide a bill of sale to the buyer. Was asked if I had a "payoff letter", I said no. She then asked "how do you know how much to pay then?" To which I responded the RBFCU app has payoff details available on the main loan screen. Was put in a room waiting on the loan department. Get told it's a 35 minute wait by an employee (name was not provided, white woman.) obviously very eager to leave. We ended up waiting 75 minutes and the manager Had to personally call a supervisor to get her to manually connect the line, at which point we are told that the branch must handle the request at which point the employees (now 1:05 past closing) all of a sudden remembered how to do. Except Angie Wiley told me that my specific request wasn't valid earlier and the loan department had to handle it, all of a sudden was directing the newer employee on how to do what I asked 75 minutes prior. Due to the delay, no notary was available so thankfully the buyer trusted me otherwise I'd have had to make another trip due to Cynthia Gregory pawning me off onto the customer service line instead of directing me to the tellers to handle my request. Through all of this, my wife (who drove 40 miles for me because RBFCU has no branches south of 635 in DFW), and my one year old son were in the car and dealing with a very upset baby who is now an hour past bedtime because of the incompetence at this location. Manager Vashyon pulled no punches with her employees and said she'd "talk to them" and admitted my experience was completely not okay. She remained calm and directed her team. However, a nice manager doesn't make my son not over tired nor does it get me back on my wife's good side for something I promised was super easy. Honestly, RBFCU has completely fallen off in terms of CX the past 6 years. Been a member for 14 years and I'm pulling every dime out of this Credit Union for USAA. Basic customer service is a myth at every location (except Benton) and the customer service department just repeats a script as to why you should stop bothering them. RUN.

I called in with hopes that they could give me a one time courtesy and waive this fee since I have been a loyal customer for over three years. I was met with a simple no, we don't do courtesy fee waivers. I have never been with a bank or credit union that doesn't work with their customers and help out their loyal ones when a mistake is made. I highly recommend you look elsewhere to another bank or credit union for your banking needs. Its clear this one is looking to just make money off you in unwaivable fees. I will be switching to another bank shortly.

Love my credit union, haven’t been physically in there in awhile but when I do go they are always friendly and welcoming. Way better than banks who take your money. Wish they had more locations around though in the metro-plex.

I have 2 loans with them (Auto Refi and Debt Consolidation). The process for each was fairly painless, I just followed their instructions and both loans funded without fail. Their telephone customer service is phenomenal. As far as this location goes, I am always in and out in under 5 minutes. No complaints.

I've had an issue with this branch a few times. Great rates but what's the use of banking with a credit union that doesn't have money in the atm I've experienced this twice with this branch all they can say is sorry. You were sorry the first time there shouldn't have been a second time. I've been inconvenienced twice will be closing account.

I have never wrote one of these before but it’s always a first time for everything. I have been with RBFCU for the past 10-12 years and have loved it since day one. From the services they provide to the customer availability they offer, RBFCU is truly the most competitive credit union out there by far. I feel one of the hardest things to do in life is to find people you can trust and when it comes to my financial institution, its’ no different. With the recent changes the banking industry has been undergoing, I understand some of the new changes RBFCU has been experiencing. However, all change does not happen at one time and if the model changes the people should stay the same. I take pleasure in the fact of knowing my money is in the hands of people who I can trust and the Plano Branch does just that for me. Regardless of the newness I have a group of people I can rely on to ease me into that transition. Since I have moved to Dallas, I have been beyond satisfied with all of the customer service I have received from the Plano branch. They are very professional, very courteous and always quick to serve up a genuine smile (not in a creepy way but... you know). Whenever I walk in, I simply love the fact that the employees know me by name. Michael, Holly and Meera are by far my favorites. Their customer service is by far the best I have seen at any bank I have every walk in. Anytime Michael takes care of my transactions, he always provides a pleasant experience. He takes care of my transactions accurately and within a short amount of time. You can tell that he loves his job and is very loyal to RBFCU. He also leaves me with a joke or two, pretty funny guy and at the same time very professional. I think he should be the branch manager if he is not already. I don’t know if that’s been done yet or not but I see he has a tie now to go with his button down shirt so yay! Anytime Holly takes care of my transactions, she goes over and beyond in taking care of a matter. If I have a line people behind me and I have a number of transactions to take care of, she thinks about what is the most efficient way to get it done, explains it to me and then executes. I love it! I don’t feel rushed or feel like I’m an inconvenience; she is very patience with me. Anytime Meera takes care of my transactions, she too is very patience and very efficient with me. She is very kind and discreet about my financial personal matters which I highly appreciate. The fact that I have been going to this back for almost a year now and have seen very few new faces means I can continue to build on that trust with my favorite people. I live in McKinney and the Allen branch is actually closer to me but I would rather drive the distance to feel like royalty at the Plano Branch. Thank you so much for the going over and beyond the call of duty Michael, Holly and Meera. You are genuinely appreciated.

Micheal worked with my husband and I on refinancing our car. We were at 5.5% interest with our dealership and we got it approved to 1.8% through RBCU!!! Micheal was so kind, funny and helpful. We laughed and chatted about life as he got all of our paperwork ready for us. We love RBCU and this made us love them even more!
