I called to make an appointment to “offer” my business. The financial representative wanted to get my account # and SS# and said she needed them so she could make the appointment. That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard. That information should be asked when actually making the transaction (filling up the form), not when making an appointment on the phone. In reality, she was able to make the appointment with just my name, email and phone #. EECU needs to change some of your “required” questions, or when to ask, accordingly. Thank you.

I am new with EECU,but I am very very unhappy with their money transfer system using Popmoney. It constantly puts the transfer on hold and it takes 3 days for the recipient to receive the money.I suggest that you use Zelle which instantly transfers the money to the recipient.This affects those who are paying bills,especially if you get paid and you wanna transfer the money to help someone not working.I am very disappointed by Popmoney and wish that you could use Zelle.Thank you

Used to be good, now I have to schedule my time to get to my money or speak to a person.. closed my account. Maybe it would also be helpful to advertise that you need to have an appointment. 5 drive thru lanes available and only 3 open with 4-5 cars waiting at each line.

This place needs new management. Only can go into the bank by appointment. I go to the drive through and only 2 people working. It took almost 45 minutes to complete transaction. Many people tired of waiting were driving off. Move the manager from Watauga to Hurst so this place can be managed properly.

EECU has made 2 mistakes that have cost serious harm to my family. They later acknowledged that they mistakenly made an INCORRECT REPORT the credit bureau, and said they corrected it. 3 months later the credit bureau is still showing the INCORRECT REPORT, and it has delayed a loan from another lender. I'm extremely unhappy. To compound this I have to wait for someone to find the time to look into it, and get back with me. I'm closing all my accounts with EECU as soon as COVID lets me in the door.

HORRIBLE BANK.The absolute worst customer experience I have ever had. I have multiple accounts, both personal and commercial. I just simply needed my signature notorized. The normal employee was out that day. Roberta Spence was filling in. Complete waste of time. She refused to do something, out of sheer laziness, that they have always done for their customers. I then spoke to Dale West in the legal department. He said he would get back to me after looking into it. He never did. I basically wasted an hour of my very valuable time. I subsequently went to a Chase Bank branch, where I am not a customer, and they were happy to do it without charge. Fast forward 10 months. I come back and get the same BS. If I could give zero stars, it would still be too much.

I've recommended many friends open accounts here and they have been impressed and happy as well. The quality of the online banking is excellent and everything you need can be found online. Access to your safe at the bank can be a little time consuming (and for good reason). I always enjoy coming inside my bank instead of the drive thru.
