The vets are always so nice here and hear out all concerns and don’t try and talk over you. I’ve gone to plenty of other vets in San Antonio and this is one of my favorite. The wellness plans they offer make it confinement in case emergency’s happen to make it more affordable.

Worst experience I have ever had. Banfields staff and vets do not care about you or your pets! They only care about making money off you and getting paid. These vets didn’t detect that my dog had lymphoma cancer until it was too late and told me to come pick my dog up and take him to a different pet hospital cause they couldn’t do anything. Banfield is still charging me money for my dead dog 3 months after I had to put him to sleep for unused services even though I canceled his wellness plan the day after I had to put him to sleep. This has been the hardest grieving process ever cause of Banfield. If you truly care about your pets you will not bring your pets here! Banfield has the rudest staff and most incompetent vets! This is the worst vets to take your pets to!!

I brought my baby in for her appointment, after calling to notify them I would be late. They refused to see her and threatened to call the police on me for wanting to see the cancellation policy. The manager disrespectfully and unprofessionally spoke at me and told me she would be happy to cancel all of my Optimum Wellness plans. I will never use this location again. Even the store and grooming department at this location are horrid.

I wish I could leave a worse review than a 1 star. My Husky puppy was brought in for PARVO and she was also unvaccinated and they did not put her in a clean environment at ALL. When they put her on the scale, the scale had fur from many other dogs, urine, and unknown fluids on the scale. When I came back to pick up my puppy, she STUNK like other animals after being TOLD she would be put in a sanitary isolated area AND she was completely terrified which is completely abnormal for my puppy as she is a very friendly and playful dog even before we took her in to get tested when she was sick. And I’m not done either, they charge up the roof for ANYthing you need for your puppy to be safe and not only that, they told me to SURRENDER MY PUPPY BECAUSE I DONT HAVE THE MONEY TO TAKE HER TO A HOSPITAL!! They gave me ugly looks when I told them I was going to treat her at home… and now my puppy is feeling way better, eating, drinking, and stopped puking… I guarantee you they just wanted my dog to turn around and sell her since she’s a very expensive breed... do NOT come here

So as a New patient you can get a free exam on your first visit when you sign up. So when I went for my free visit for my kitten they said that she only had a dead worm on her tail and I asked them did they remove it and they said well it was dead and I was like in my head well did you remove it and when I got in the car I found it on her tail still and now I think she has an ear infection I don’t think that they do a thorough job when examining her also it was very quick too. The staff was very nice tho

Super loud lobby, couldn't really hear the vet since you can't go in the room with your pet. Front desk staff, well no one talked to me after they took my money. A follow up was made without letting me know and without a call. I called four times and couldn't get anyone on the phone and finally checked the app to see the appointment was at a time I couldn't make. So I had to call again three more times to reschedule. The VET we saw was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL though! She was sweet and attentive and all the things you want a vet to be! We're staying at this location for her.

Take our dog for his check ups to this place. Vet is very thorough with him, answers our questions or concerns, and provides recommendations she has 1st hand knowledge and/or experience. Love how they listen to you and care for our 4 legged baby.

Absolutely the most pleasant vet appointment I have ever experienced. Very very friendly vet staff. Our vet Natasha, was so lovely and very informative, getting the best care for reasonable prices. My little girl and I are very happy we chose them.

Took our cat Ringo, to be euthanized 😢 The Vet was incredibly kind and compassionate. She talked to us to understand the situation. She slowly explained every step and our options. We really appreciated her genuine tenderness and compassion. It was very hard on us 😢 but she treated us all like family . 💞 R.I.P. Ringo
