The store staff is always friendly. The pharmacy not so much. These front counter employees act as if they own the place. Turnaround seems heavy...

I went to Walgreens to buy one CR2032 lithium battery, which everywhere ealse cost no more than $3 . Walmart has it at $1.50, but since Walgreens it's closer to my house, I went to Walgreens. I got one and I went to pay for it. The lady at the cashier register scanned the item and the price came out at $7.49. I said that is wrong, I'm buying one battery, not two or three. The lady said, that was the price for one battery. I checked on their website, and they have two CR2032 for $6.96. So, I told the lady , how is it possible that you have two batteries CR2032 for sale cheaper than one CR2032. She could not explained why, and she just keep telling me to call Corporate head quarters, because she just went by what the register would tell her. Of course, I demanded to see the manager. Finally, the manager went by the same logic of the register lady, and I just ask for my money back, since I had already pay for the item. After, I ask for my money back, the manager, actually, offer me the same item at $3. So I said, what is the real price of this item, and, are you running an option business or what, offering me a better price just to buy the item there. I just walked away after that. Something fishy it's going on at that Walgreens with the prices.

I’ve never used Walgreens pharmacy, and today’s experience showed I never will. I picked up an elderly couple after he had a tooth removed. His numbing agent was wearing off and needed his pain medication filled. We pulled in line with six cars at 5:45 on a Monday. One hour and twenty two minutes later we finally got our meds and we’re on our way. The entire time this poor guy was in agony in my passenger seat. Slowest pharmacy ever. This experience just proved why I stay with H‑E‑B. And o convinced my passenger to move his scripts to H‑E‑B too after this experience.

I went to get my COVID booster today. Handed the tech my ID, vaccine card and my digital copy of my insurance card. She told me that my insurance company did not cover prescriptions. When I finally got the insurance rep on the phone, the tech refused to speak with them. Telling me to get the information that was on my digital card already. I already made a complaint with Aetna. Apparently they have received numerous complaints about them in regards to the covid vaccines and boosters.

I came home just now LIVID about my drive thru pharmacy experience! Oh my gosh! I sat in line for one hour and fifteen minutes with only five cars in front of me and burned a quarter of a tank of gas! There was no way I could get out of line, because there were cars in front of me, cars in back of me, and cars in the right lane next to me. When I FINALLY got to the window, there was no one there! The guy eventually showed up like he was surprised someone was waiting. He picked up the phone, then said, “I will be with you in a minute”. Then, he proceeded to talk to the guy in the pickup in the lane beside me, who, by the way, had been there before me. Evidently this guy had paid for his medicine online, and no one knew what to do. It took FOREVER to get that settled. When he got to me, finally, I gave him my name, and he said they had one medication for me and told me the price….$7.80. I gave him $8.00, hoping that would speed things up. He then proceeded to look everywhere for my prescription. Evidently, they have a very poor filing system, too. That guy, I could see, went about all over the place, looking in every nook and cranny trying to find my order. I lost it. When he walked past the window again, I signaled him. He asked me if I needed something. I told him to give me my money back….that I had waited 1 1/4 hours and burned 1/4 tank of gas, and they could just keep the medication. He told me that he didn’t blame me, and admitted that he could not find my med. I am usually an easy going person, but tonight I just lost it. I burned ore money in gas than my prescription costs. I will NEVER do that again! Evidently the manager of that place must suck!

The pharmacy manager at this location is an absolute DISGRACE. Today we attempted the Covid vaccine for my 5 year old. He is extremely afraid of shots (aren’t they all?) and also has sensory issues. He’s strong for his age and I just recently had a c-section so holding him down alone was not easy. Because he wouldn’t stop screaming and moving around, she refused to give him the shot - understandable. My son was crying for water after getting worked up and another employee from the pharmacy approached and asked if she could get him some. The manager responded to her and said “no because we’re not doing this.” Wow. At this point we got up to leave. The manager mentioned we could reschedule. I responded by saying “we will go somewhere else where they can better handle children.” As we were walking away, she had the audacity to say “No you need to learn how to handle your child” loud enough for everyone in the pharmacy to hear. The unprofessionalism and lack of compassion she displayed was so disappointing. Making a comment of that nature in addition to denying water to a child after someone else offered is not consistent with a manager title.

Sat in drive through for 40 mins with only 3 cars in front of me. The response time is abhorrent at the drive through. There are two lines but apparently only one person operating them. Walgreens is seemingly out of touch, the only thing keeping them in business is the army of boomers who have all the time in the world to sit in line at a drive through that is longer than a whataburger's the night after a home game.. Can't wait to see this company tank into irrelevance as I grow old.

My daughter received her second COVID shot. The line moved quickly and efficiently. My daughter who is normally apprehensive of needles was calm and smiling when finish. Thank you!

Absolutely worst customer service experience. Would give zero stars if I could. Bringing patient home from the hospital and waited over an hour for prescriptions. Had to go to the back of the drive thru line because 1 of the 3 were not ready yet!

Indoor experience...excellent. drive Thru experience...horrible. They said to go through the drive thru because it was faster. I waited over 45 minutes only to look through the window and see them handle 6 customers before they acknowledged me and I believe they finally acknowledged me because I pressed the call button. Looking behind me, there are 6 cars waiting. Got to the window and they can't find the prescription even though I called it in and got verificarion it was ready. So avoid the drive thru if you are looking for speedy customer service.
