Woodforest is really going down the drain. Worst customer service at this location EVER!! I went to deposit a check that was an homeowners insurance refund. It had myself and my ex husband on the check. We both signed the check but the teller said she couldn’t deposit it. Now... I literally deposited an exact same check the same way just 4 days previously. Same company, made out the same way, just a different amount (apparently a lot of times mortgage companies send 2 checks out). It’s VERY frustrating and a HUGE inconvenience to a customer of over 10 years to deal with this. If it was done once, it should have been done again. Don’t make up random policies and apply them when you feel like it. Fortunately, my ex and I are on good terms and he can meet me, just have to drive another 30 minutes out of the way. Thanks Woodforest for doing the right thing. 🙄 ohh and get with the times.. how about incorporating Zelle or updated ATM’s that take cash deposits - similar to Chase.

Took payment out twice for my insurance under pending and refused to fix their mistake and then charged me an overdraft for their mistake. Talked to 3 managers who could never see the problem. Closed my account! Also changes dates so they can charge you overdraft fees! Very dishonest bank and rude employees!! Buyer beware!

Favorite bank of the woodlands. Woodforest has locations all over The Woodlands so it's convenient and the people working at these banks are always nice!

This bank was fine, as banks go...but after closing our account recently and requesting a letter stating such we were told this letter would incur a $20 fee and an application process. Unbelievable!! Will never bank with Woodforest again!!!
