FAST! Was 6 minutes and 43 seconds for a Saturday inspection. Love this gem of a place. Have been coming to Ben's for years for inspections and occasionally tire mounting, balancing and alignment. Nice folks.

Went to get my inspection done with my mom for both our vehicles, and we were greeted by Mr.Ben, both inspections took maybe a total of 10 minutes!! The employees were fast and friendly as well. Great service! I highly recommend this shop.

I would've given this place 5 stars based on the first visit...but the registration wasn't done in a timely manner so I just got home from trying to redo it. Now it doesn't pass and the guy implied that I added tint or hid it from his guys the first time. Definitely not impressed with the owner, Ben!

Went in for an inspection. I was told their machine could not read the OBDM plug in my car. I was confused as I have never had any issues with the car in question. Left Ben's Discount Tires and went to a Kwik Kar. The car passed with flying colors and there were no issues whatsoever. I shared with the people at the Kwik Kar what I was told at Ben's and they warned me that some shops will try to scare you into buying unnecessary repairs or will try to send you to a shop of their choosing in order to charge for "allegedly required" repairs. I am not naive. I know that this is not a new practice for many business out there. I however, am disappointed that Ben;s Discount Tires is resorting to these kind of practices. So much for trying to support a local Sunnyvale business.

I went in for a flat on a new tire that got a nail. They asked me if I'm going to patch it and I said yes I wanted them to patch it. They put a small little patch on it and this morning when I went out to get in the van the tire was flat. I had to take it over to Forney tire repair and they showed me the shoddy job that Ben's did. They charged me $15.70 for a job that I had to redo again at Forney tire repair. I would not take my vehicles back to them at any point in time. I called Ben, the owner and I explained to him that the tire patch was not properly fixed. I had to take it the another tire shop to get the patch done correctly. He at first was reluctant in paying a refund but acquiesced and paid me the refund.

Car inspection: If I could give 0 stars, I would. Really unprofessional and would not recommend anyone I care about to go there. He needs to update store hours to 4:50, because dont expect service a minute after that. I scrambled to go get a bulb for a burnt out light, and after I pulled up trying to talk to the two (VERY RUDE, AND DONT SEEM TO CARE A BIT) gentleman to tell them I hurried and made it, they refused to help me out during their chosen business hours. The older gentleman, who I can only assume is Ben, was very rude and yelled at me. Wont be going back there again. Just wanted to warn others that this place is not about the customer or customer service.

Years ago, I bought tires from Ben’s. My experience was terrible. Got the tires and one of them blew out while I was driving on the highway. I was so scared when it happened. I can understand why it’s a discount tire store. The service after the blown out tire was terrible. Never again would I go to this place. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

They were honest and told me my alignment wasn't off enough to worry about. Could have easily told me that it did need an alignment and charged me to do it, but the owner (Ben) was honest. I will definitely be back when my vehicle does need an alignment.
