Tried to Mac a deposit through the atm on Saturday and it took my check and said it couldn’t do deposits. It kept my check. Went inside and they said it should b deposited Monday. Went in Monday they said it could take a week. I went in today to make deposit another check. I knew my account was $20.00 overdrawn. That’s the reason I tried to make a deposit Saturday. I was told they closed my account because of 30 days delinquent. Today was day 30. I told them for the third time It wasn’t 30 days last Saturday. I’m done. And the first check still nowhere to be found. If you bank here good luck! Made this review a month ago and the check I tried to deposit, that the atm machine took but didn’t deposit is still nowhere to be found. When I went in a month ago they gave me a case number and assured me they would take care of this. I guess I should have asked them when that would be.

My moms husband died. She had several accounts with her husbands name on them-most banks were helpful and she withdrew her money using the death certificate and other legal paperwork-This bank made her wait and come back repeatedly and literally tried to hassle her. this bank has a reputation for doing that . Her lawyer warned her about this bank.

Always have great service here, on a particular visit we had several lengthy transactions to accomplish. Skyla Milner was outstanding taking the time to explain everything. She still greeted and acknowledged customers coming in. Very professional and friendly. Really like this branch.

I just got off the phone with Lindsey at Penfed and still am not assured that my problem has been addressed. I have tried since March to get my loan transferred to come out of a savings account. This is the fifth time I have talked to them. Three times in person and now two times on the phone. They keep taking my car payment out of both accounts until they drain one of them. I asked to mail the payments but supposedly a supervisor will call me. We will see. Poorest service I have seen in a bank in 45 years.still am dealing with this after 9 months

Update 1-15-21 The review below was for Texas Partners, NOT PenFed. I've had some frustrating experiences with them since PenFed bought them out. I will be changing to a local credit union when their branch is open on the west side of town! __________ This credit union has always been there for us. They are careful about our account's security. When someone stole our credit card info and charged $350 at a hotel in California, they credited it back the next day when we filed a police report. The employees are always polite and responsive.

I have never seen a bank that lets old people get scammed and do nothing about it. No customer protection on your account very sad and disappointing. Work all your life and get ripped off and no one here at this bank or any branches will step up to do anything. Thank you.

My experience with PENFED Credit Union has been and continue to be spectacular. Their customer service is great, they really pay attention to the needs their customers concerning the products they offer and what the customer is trying accomplish with their finances.

This bank took over our previous bank, so we did not have a choice in banking with this aweful bank. We were forced to bank with them in December of last year and it's been nothing but trouble since. They never have accurate dates of when money is deposited or withdrawn from accounts. They do not have very good accuracy in any transactions that accure, so you must keep a paper trail at all times. The worst experience I had was an incident that could have been very bad that accured at the Temple Texas branch. I had paid 700 worth of bills on Aug 6, 3 days later my husband used the debit card to withdraw 120.00 and was denied. He went to to bank and was told he exceeded the limit for that day. The card wasn't used 3 days prior to this. He told them that. They looked into it and found that it took the bank 3 to 4 days to pay the bills. The bad part about this is I was going out of town that night and would have never known till I got to the hotel after my card would have been denied that we supposedly exceeded the amount. This is the deal.. we had over 5000 in our account! The last time we used the card was 3 days prior to pay bills. They of course raised the amount on the atm card to use that night when we left. Evidently the amount before exceeding is 1000, so then tell me why this happened? They had no answers however of course apologized for their mistake. They make ALOT of mistakes. Their transactions are very slow, and they have a large turn over of employees which I'm sure adds to their problem. We have many items coming in and out of this account for the next 3 minths. After that is taking care of we are going to Wells Fargo. Cannot wait!!!!

I have probably been banking here for about a year now. I have had consistent issues with Texas Partners. My credit card decided one day to not except my pin and now I am unable to use my credit card. So I go on my app to see if I can figure it out without having to call and now my app won’t let me in. Now I am forced to call them it is 5:04pm apparently their bank hours are 9 to 5 when everyone is at work. I am starting to get frustrated so I figured I would go through the automated system on the phone I just need to know if the transaction has went through..... apparently you have to sign up to do this ..... are you kidding me!!! I have a credit card that doesn’t work, an app that has kicked me out, a banking company I can’t get a hold of, and an automated system that you have to sign up for!

This branch is horribly slow. Belton branch was very fast and efficient but they closed it since they opened a branch 100 yards from this location inside of Walmart. Avoid this credit union.
