Came to this Midas location for an alignment. Told me an hour to two hour wait. I agreed and started waiting. After waiting 50 minutes in the uncomfortable chairs they have for waiting, the front desk dude tells me that the lift they have to lift the vehicles was not working correctly. That it would go up ,but it may and could drop the vehicle.. The funny thing is that there was a car lifted in the first bay spot when I went into the store. Makes me believe they made an excuse to not work or they didn't want to do it. NEVER GOING BACK TO MIDAS!!!!

I called and scheduled an appointment with the coupon. I gave the guy all my car information. I quoted a price and I arrived a young man tried to charge me double and made up a story as to why the price increase. The story was when I called the model was not given. This is totally untrue

Very well conducted environment with very nice employees. Steven is a great guy and I commend him 5 stars for his attitude and great customer service. We come here for all our car needs and have been bringing our vehicles in for some time now and even invited others to experience what we have and they are completely satisfied as well. I highly recommend this place for all your cars upkeep this place is reasonably priced and offer financing if the cost for a repair is to high. Great place to go for your vehicle and very nice people!

Will not be going back! They couldn't find my appointment but were nice enough to fit me in the schedule and when I asked about it I got ignored. Then said I needed my tires rotated and he was irritated I asked. I was lied to about the price (& other minor things) and paid double what I should've. Then left and they never did my tire rotation and gave an excuse, but it was just them not willing to do the work. My husband called to talk to them about these things and the front desk was nasty and rude. Service: Oil change

Went in to have my battery replaced on my Volkswagen since Autozone or other companies related to it aren't able to replace batteries on VW. First complaint is that I told them that I didn't want an alternator test for $29 since the Roadside Assistance already said the alternator wasn't the issue but they decided to test it anyway and came back saying that I needed to replace the alternator ASAP since it failed the test. Showed me a quote for $2600 to replace it and tried to get me to open 2 credit cards with them to pay for it. Ended up just paying for the battery and went to 2 different businesses to have the alternator tested the next day. Both tests passed and the technicians stated that my alternator was just fine and that Midas was just trying to up sale me. Will NOT be taking my car back there. Service: Battery

Walked in, guy at the desk didn't even acknowledge me so I sat down. Waited 10 min then left. Went next door to Jiffy Lube. They immediately walked up to me, greeted me kindly and started my oil change.

Starter is bad on my 94 f150 they quoted me 400 for a $90 part then another 400 for labor…. I’ve been going there since 2017 asked if they could remove the starter for me at least and they said no even though I was willing to pay for that.. My service tech was Eli and he was great. I called before showing up and I was immediately taken care of. Eli listened while I explained what was wrong with my car and wrote word for word what I said. My car's brakes were replaced in a timely manner and my issue is gone. Midas in Universal City is an incredible group of experienced professionals from the front to the back of the shop. They are extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy, and efficient! They always do a superb job on my vehicle and provide incredible prices that are both fair and competitive! The manager Steve Ramos is sincerely a stand up guy. He is friendly, patient, understanding, and empathetic. He treats every customer with respect and takes the time to listen to their needs and concerns. His positive attitude towards his customers and his employees is what keeps me coming back. Steve and Eli (his assistant) are a fantastic team with vast experience in their field.
