Everyone says to buy reptiles directly from a breeder. They say you don’t know what you’re getting from the big pet stores. But in my own experience, I have to disagree. I’ve bought snakes from reptile expos and I’ve now bought two from the Victoria PetSmart. A normal ball python about six months ago and a corn snake this past Saturday. Both adjusted to their new home very quickly and they are both great eaters. I’m writing this on the Monday following my corn snake purchase and she’s already had her first meal. I would normally wait a week or so before feeding, but they just received her at the store on Friday and she hadn’t eaten yet. So, I figured I would offer her a pinky and see. She at it with absolutely no fuss. What I’m saying is these are quality animals. On par with what you’ll find at an expo. Really, the only downside is not knowing the genetics. But I don’t plan on breeding either of them, so it’s not really an issue for me.

Kelsey the “manager” is very unprofessional and very rude she started yelling at me and my mother in front of the customers we drove a whole hour away to replace our bird we just bought from there that died on the way home. I didn’t drive no hour in a half to get treated poorly by y’all’s unprofessional MANAGER! Very bad customer service.

Everyone who works there was as nice as the other. My daughter wanted a hamster and these ladies showed her what they had. Of course we got one it's a chunky cutie pie! Thanks for being so helpful!

My dog was groomed by a nice lady named Carolyn. My dog looked beautiful. She slept hard last night and today because they gave her an anti itch bath and an all around doggy glamour treatment. It was Sadie Rae's first ever grooming. They invited her back anytime because she was a good girl. Good price for services received. My husband picked her up and did not know it is customary to give your groomer a little tip like you do a stylist. So carolyn, I'm sorry. I haven't forgot you. Next visit I will take care of it. You did a wonderful job and you deserve it. I am very pleased with the services. I like the people. Everyone was very nice and my dog liked them. Thank you Petsmart.

Good selection, decent prices. Always has the items I need. Sometimes a bit short staffed and can be waiting quite a bit to get assistance. Hopefully they get more positions filled.

NOT FOR LARGE DOGS!!! unless they get new groomers, the groomers currently there REFUSE to bath a large dog. They will claim they "bite", but I'm sure it has to do with the work involved in bathing a large dog. SABRINA COME BACK!!! LOL My large dog does fine with Pet Resort (they have a long wait sometimes) and Northside Ranch Pet & Garden center (sometimes a long wait as well).

Large selection of products for pets. Hard to find an employee to answer a question, but that's understandable with every place being under staffed. The prices on some items seemed a little high compared to other stores. But they make up for that with having a larger inventory.

The fish department is helpful and if you're at least knowledgeable about the fish you want and understand the limits of your tank they don't hound you with fish facts. If you do have questions they're happy to answer them. No birds or small mammals currently but I did see a few reptiles and one terrapin.
