The pool could be great, but I have a few complaints. 1. The pool is probably the only place I have to pay for my six month old. 2. I’m not allowed to go down the slide with my two year old. 3. This one is the deal breaker: everyone must exit the water every 10 of 60 minutes to watch the lifeguards flirt with each other and occasionally do cannonballs off the diving board. I appreciate the safety stops, but 3-7 minutes is more than enough to check the chemicals and give kids a break. It seems ridiculous to me that 17% of the time the pool is open you are not allowed to use it. Two stars because it is a great pool, just wish they had thought a little more about some things.

Great center right in the community. Great classes, best teachers! Zumba with Jaron & Kristy for more than 10 years! Love the pool! Needs a bit of updating, looking forward to great things to come there! Love that this place is a part of where we live.

When I had dogs, I never would have had them swimming in a pool, full of chemicals, meant for people. I see there is a pond there, yet I see a lot of pics of dogs swimming in the pool instead of the pond. I'll be taking my children to a pool that's dog free.

I took the 8:00 water fitness class with Vicky today. She is very friendly such a good teacher! She knew some of the students from before, but made sure she knew every Student's name in the class today! She talks and encourages throughout the class. I recommend this class to anyone who wants to feel great after an hour working out. I can tell that my muscles were worked by the resistance of water! It is worth the effort and I plan to attend all of her classes this summer at Alta Canyon Rec. Center.

It’s inexpensive…you get what you pay for. In the past two months since having a pass, they have closed unexpectedly 3 times when we have been there. We don’t go everyday, so it’s probably happening much more than that. The teenagers that work there are not trained well to handle these situations and are never able to give answers or apologize. It’s super frustrating to get kids ready, out the door, meet friends, only to be told you have to leave or that they are closing in 10 minutes, even though online, it shows they are open. Pool is fun but splash pad is never on (part of the reason we got the pass). They do make-up swim lessons during open swim hours and won’t let you swim.

Bought a summer pass so we can swim. Well, the first time we go, the bottom of the pool rips up my kid's feet causing them to bleed. It wasn't just my kids several other kids as well bleeding all over the pool deck. Life guards trying to spray down all the bloody spots, I'm sure some got missed. The health department should be called. Definitely a health hazard.

Alta Canyon’s pool is very fun for family and friends. This place is really crowded on Saturdays, but it’s way better to come here on the weekdays because it’s way less crowded. I would really recommend coming here on a hot summer day.

I've been swimming at this pool since I was a small child. It now has a water slide which my little girl loves. Every county pool makes you get out ever 45 minutes to keep the pool water clean. Many reviews say the lifeguards are overly restrictive. Water and kids can lead to some serious accidents and many parents aren't that attentive. The guards are just doing their job. I just wish the pool water could be a few degrees warmer. It has always been cold. It is a great place to swim on a hot summer day!

This place is an overall great place to go as a family. If you have little kids this is a great place also because they have a little water that the could overcome there fear on and diving boards where can learn basic skill. This is also a fun place to go if your a Teen or even adult they could just use slightly better customer service, for example say you ask them something they won't always responds in the nicest way. but that's it.
