Called and wanted to see if I could have an overdraft fee taken a look at since i had 4, 25$ overdraft fees on my positive account balance, the lady told me just a few moments and then I proceeded to stay on hold for 52 minutes. After absolutely no sign of life I hung up and figured I would just call back as I wasn’t even sure if the call was still connected, I called back and immediately was helped by a different woman, I told her the exact dates for my over draft fees, she told me that there was nothing she could do as she couldn’t see the pending amount for charges that happened 1 month ago. Basically just has 100$ stolen from my account with little to no help or understanding at all. This happened a few months back when I noticed the overdraft fees on a positive balance, with no pending charges the lady told me she was so sorry that that had happened and immediately took off the wrongly charged overdraft fees. However this time around conveniently this information was no longer available to her for the new charges and she basically just told me I was out of luck & out of 100$. However I should not have had to check my account to find the discrepancy in the first place, as it shouldn’t have been charged in the first place. Absolutely awful service with no understanding at all. The over draft fees not only left me short but now I feel absolutely belittled as the lady told me over and over she couldn’t access that information in my account. Good to know that this could happen at anytime and if I don’t constantly check my account for the drafts I’m just outta luck. Thanks for nothing! Banked here for 4/5 years and I’ve never seen an overdraft fee for a postive available balance, next time I’ll just save us all some time and just be missing out on my own money.

But when the gentleman called me up he was very nice and apologized for the wait. I’ve never banked with such a nice staff. The manager even came and opened the door for me , I think it weighs more than I do, I told him that and thank you for the help. Appreciate you all at the 9400 south branch. This has to be my worst experience with any bank, the branch manager doesn't seen to know how to do her job and the other employee seen to work as slow as possible. We have been with this credit union for 6+ years and its time to start looking for another company that actually appreciates their customers.

Recently we went into the branch and had a surprisingly not so pleasant experience with the Branch Manager in the West Valley City branch located off of 5600 West. I’d recommend either using another branch or financial institution altogether. I was saddened to see their transactional approach to financial solutions.

I’ve been with them 10 years plus and I’ll never go back. Then manager here is also a joke trying to blame an employee Chad for why their branch sucks..

The folks at the 9400 South Branch have been terrific to work with. I had been at another bank since 1996 who have clearly "forgotten who keeps them in business." I was in the process of rearranging all of my finances and was in need of a home equity loan to help streamline the process. The loan was on a house that I own outright and have 100% equity in. The previous bank did everything possible to complicate the process, requiring forms that didn't even exist, and then turned me down. I went to MACU and not only did they get me the loan in record time with very little paperwork, but they treated me like they actually wanted my business. Because of their work, I closed the accounts at the other bank, and because I was able to streamline all of my finances, I was able to immediately pay off the loan they had just gotten for me. So far, I have every reason to recommend this branch AND their staff. Thank you.
