Really pleased with Enterprise’s service after having to urgently rent a vehicle this weekend. I made the reservation online on a Thursday, worried that no car would be available. Friday afternoon, I received a call from Bobby at the local Enterprise in Alexandria. He let me know that it was possible that a car wouldn’t be available on Sat but that he would let me ASAP know if this was the case. Sat. morning I got a call from the same Bobby letting me know that a car was definitely available at the same time I scheduled for pickup. Unfortunately, I went to the wrong Enterprise location (there’s 2 within 10 miles of each other) but the gentleman at the desk kindly texted the other location to let them know the situation, gave me directions, & got me on my way. Once I was at the right place, I met Bobby in person & he took care of everything inside of 10 minutes. He even upgraded my rental. This was my second good experience with Enterprise & I’m now a customer for life.

Probably the worst service ever. They don't care about customers. All they care about is getting your money. Long story short, I reserved a truck, but got an economy car and had to wait for 3 hours. They couldn't even give me a date or explanation of when the truck THAT I MADE A RESERVATION FOR IS GOING TO BE AVAILABLE. Very very very poor management. I was told that I will be contacted by a manager, but they never got back to me. They completely neglected me, but hey they give me small and uncomfortable car and they charged me for it. Don't ever use enterprise.

After an accident that totaled my car, I was issued an Enterprise Rental during the claim process. Enterprise continued, with understanding and professionalism, to rent at the insurance rate after the final claim process. Literately, saving me from other modes of transportation. When the car was issued, the car smell was not favorable and I was able to return it to the nearest Enterprise with no hassle. Everyone was kind and courteous, especially at the Mt Vernon office on Richmond Hwy. I recommend them.

I have NEVER had a worse car rental experience. I would not rent from this place again. Upon arrival I was told that I couldn’t use my debit card to rent the vehicle which is typically all I travel with. Luckily I had another person with me who was willing to use their information. However they couldn’t use that persons information because they were already renting a car from enterprise. Then, my only option was to activate an entirely new credit card. After all of that had to wait an additional 45 minutes for my rental because they used it to go pick up another vehicle. The woman said it would only take an additional 20 minutes, that was a lie. After 20 minutes when I asked how much longer it would take they said they sent someone else to get another SUV which would take another 15 minutes. 15 minutes later still no rental car. That being said no one actually knew how long I’d be waiting for a rental. They’re guidelines are extremely strict, and hard to manage if you are an out of state traveler trying to rent a vehicle. I wanted to use my debit card, which they’d only allow me to use if I had a flight to catch. That being said I had to activate a credit card. Therefore their process is unnecessarily difficult because they will accept a debit card, however only on their terms, and when it makes sense for them. Horrible all around experience.

Great check in and check out experience. Someone picked me up from home so that I can pick the car from the location. However when I dropped the car I had to go back home by uber, it would have been nice if they can arrange same service to drop off customer specially if the location is only 3 miles away. The agent told me they don't provide that service on weekend which don't make sense because they run 7 days business it shouldn't matter what day of the week it is. Over all other than this (drop-off) my experience with the agents both during pick up and return was great.

The staff at the Richmond Hwy location are simply FANTASTIC. I have rented from Enterprise a significant amount in the past year. Their service -- particularly from this location -- has been outstanding. Reliable delivery of rental cars, easy check in/out and super friendly staff. Looking forward to giving them all my future business !

Excellent, prompt and courteous service. Pick-up and return were quick and easy. Vehicle provided included features requested (including satellite radio) and performed well during my trip. I consider this Enterprise location my go-to local car rental provider.

Great customer service. I stopped by there on a Friday night to pick up a rental that my car dealership had arranged for me. When I walked in, there were a bunch of people waiting in line. I usually do not have the patience to wait around but both representatives were pleasant and courteous and they were really trying to get everyone served as quickly as they could. Sure, I waited a long time but it was a Friday night and I could totally understand the long wait as everybody's trying to get their rentals before the weekend. I think both representatives handled the crowd very well, I returned the rental the following day. Again, it was crowded but the level of customer service was the same way. I can't recall any other time when I walked into a car rental place having this kind of experience. So, kudos to this branch and thank you for an excellent customer service!

My experience was good until I returned the car. I needed a last minute rental from Friday at 9am until Saturday afternoon. Two issues: 1) I rented the car for 24 hours (reserved it online for 24 hrs.) was billed for three days and, 2) I was told there would be a free drop-off back to my house too. When I got to the office to return the car, it was closed so I was stuck. Plus, was told that my $100 hold on the car would be debited back to my visa, but was not. In addition, when I called to resolve, the employee was not able to resolve and inform that the manager would call me back in 1/2 hr, but never did call. I am not one to write reviews, but this is unacceptable. So I rented the car for $193.87. I was never told that the rental was for 3 days instead of 24 hours. Very disappointed and will not rent from this location again. I am not one for bad reviews!
